Pierced ears-do you sleep with earrings on?

I've only been wearing them a month or so & was sleeping with my new studs (this is AFTER the 60 day break =in period)

Somehow the backing of one stude "un-screwed itself" and is lost-thank gawd I didn't lose my new diamonds

anywho-does anyone keep their stude in 24/7 ??????
(Or other small earring?)

I always sleep with my earrings and I know this is not the best practice so therefore I have lost many earrings. I now buy cz studs so I do not have to worry if I lose one. I buy the same size and shape then I can have a spare.I had lots of earrings but lost many of them so now I have tons of singles. When gold was cheap earrings cost 20, 30 or 40 a pair so replacing them was not a big deal now it costs 200 or more. I just never remember to take them out or put them back in. I wish I could wear silver ones but the itch and infect my ears.

I do. Multiple piercings and I only switch out the first ones every few weeks. I take them out weekly to clean though but I never go without.

The only earrings I have lost are cheap ones. My good ones have better backings and they don't fall off. I take those in every once in a while to get checked to make sure they are strong and shapped right.

Right now, my two lobe piercings are 14g titanium. The first hole is a seamless ring that is such a pain to take out (I'll be switching to a different type of earring for track season), so I never bother. The second hole is a standard half-circle guage. It comes out easily, but won't fall out.

My cartilage is a regular earring and I've never had issues with it falling out.

But to answer your question, yes. I sleep with my earrings in.

I have 3, all in my ear. I always keep studs in them, and have never had a problem with them coming out.

I sleep with them in only if they're studs. I only have one hole in each ear so I don't have to worry about a bunch of earrings falling out.

I wear a diamond pair pretty similar to these:

everyday. My husband gave them to me on our wedding night. I wear them to bed, in the shower....pretty much the only time i take them off is in the ocean or the pool.

Sometimes I wear my earlobe piercings to bed, sometimes I don't. I always have my eyebrow and ear cartilage piercings in.

It doesnt matter what earring I wear, I take my earrings off at bedtime.

I wear my studs every night. I have for years and have never had a problem with losing them or the backs, and I have never had a problem with them bothering me.

I bought a pair specifically to wear all the time. I sleep with then in, shower with them in, etc. I only take them out if I'm getting dressed up to go out (and work doesn't count as "going out") and I'll replace them with fancier earrings that match whatever outfit I'm wearing.

I wear diamond studs, small diamond hoops, and a gold ring(in cartilege) 24/7. The only time I take them out is to clean them. I have screw on backs for my studs and I have never had them come off.

In fact, I wear two bracelets, two necklaces, my rings and my watch 24/7. I'm too lazy to remove and put on every day.

I have studs that I practically live in, so yes, they stay in while I sleep. Haven't been lost yet, knock on wood!
