Pierced ears-do you sleep with earrings on?

I wear them all the time, and have never had one fall out and get lost.

when i was little i did, because i was too lazy to take them out. now they just hurt me if i keep them in, plus i like wearing dangly ones now and those would just fall out if i slept in them.

I can't sleep with studs-never could. I do have a pair of small gold hoops that I can sleep in.

Sometimes I forget and go to sleep with them in. Then I wake up every couple hours wondering what is wrong and why I can't sleep. If I figure it out before dawn, I finally fall asleep. Pathetic!

I take them out to sleep, I can't sleep with any type of earrings, necklaces, rings etc- all that has to come off at bedtime.

I have a pair of diamond studs that were a gift from my grandmother in my upper holes that I have worn 24/7 for over 15 years. The bottom hole is usually some type of hoop and it depends on how comfortable they are.

Sure! They're just small 14k gold studs. They're very comfortable.

I can't sleep in earrings of any kind, especially studs. The posts stick into my neck. I don't know if others have the same problem- I have very "flat to my head" ears and that might be why studs aren't comfy. DH and DD, who have ears that stick out and away from their heads more, make fun of me for my freakishly small ears. I can't wear earbuds- they are too big to fit in my ears.

DD has pierced ears, and wears her studs 24/7, with no complaints.

The studs stay in the top hole 6 out of 7 nights. They build up scar tissue too easily. At this point they don't bother me at all. I do change them just about every other day.

Same deal, I buy the cheap studs at Claire's or Target. I lose one big deal. Plus after a few months they get tossed.

I wear 6 diamond studs, 3 in each ear, all of the time. They only come out for cleaning. I also wear my rings, watch, necklace, etc to bed too.
