Like Csaks I too got a new vehicle, my 1994 Astro is on its last legs, so we needed something that would fit 6 of us.. We got a 2002 GMC Envoy EX SLT.. it is AWESOME. Far beyond anything I have ever owned and I love it! Since we are driving down to Disney this will be so comfortable! I can't wait.

Here are a few pictures, my DH loves the Bose stereo. I like that it has 4X4 for the winter.

Oh, oh, Me thinks I started something;) .

Congrats on the truck. Looks great and you will enjoy it.

Chris.

Thanks Chris

I figured not everyone would make the same choice as I would however it is the best choice for our family size and pulling the boat. I shared the pics since I had asked all of you for your opinion when I was looking for a new van.

As for the the "thirsty" comment.. it is a V6 not a V8 and the engine is actually a touch smaller than my Astro (4.3 verses 4.1) and gives the same or a bit better milage because it is newer.

I am very happy with it and thought I would share. We have always had base vehicles and to have something with all the bells and whistles and yet still in our price range was a plus!

Sounds like your happy and thats the main thing. I could see if it was a hummer or something....:drive:

Mousy,

Sorry to spoil the tread but it rubbed me the wrong way. The boat and two full sized dogs is the reason we are keeping our newer truck, plus I've had one for the last 15 yrs and could not imagine living without one. I'd lose all my friends if I didn't have a truck for them to borrow:rotfl2: .
We should start a boat thread :) .

Why do you have to be that way?

She is excited and has a good reason for the SUV (six people). Can't you just be happy for someone. Not everyone can drive a Toyota Echo.

I was not being nasty but the above remark certainly is nasty.

I could care less what anyone drives.

Congrats on your new vehicle. The Envoy does surprisingly well for gas mileage in my experience.. much MUCH better than my old Jeep Grand Cherokee which literally 'gulped' fuel at a rate that would make an oil baron blush! I'm sure you'll enjoy the Envoy.

A gentle reminder to all - let's try to treat other posters with courtesy and respect.

Thanks,

Knox

Well we just bought a 08 Kia Sedona. Unfortunately it never quite occured to me to post a pic of it as there are not too many minivan love ins:love: :hippie: ....just no coolness factor like the other two!:rotfl2: :lmao:
Great vehicles...both of them thanks for sharing some really nice pics!:goodvibes
