Pictures From Your Part of the World

Though I love seeing the snow and fall photos - I do miss a change of seasons (but not too cold, I can't do that anymore!)

We don't have much of a change here. It is either hot or cold, not much in between! When we do have spring and fall like weather it is gernerally filled with most of our annual quota of rain and nasty storms. It is funny, people envy me for living so close to Six Flags, and I envy people who live close to Disney World!

:rotfl2: This was our neighborhood not too long ago ...

The beach in my part of the world in Wareham, MA. I will post more when I have time to get out in greater than 38 deg weather! I need at least 50 deg to get really inspired...

Andy, where is that 2nd one. If I'm not mistaken, that 1st one looks like Little Harbor Beach. Though it has been quite a few years since I've been there. Can't quite place the 2nd one though. Although it does look like its further down Little Harbor Beach.

Nice capture with those. Well done.

Thanks! You are right. Both are Little Harbor Beach. One is from the far left looking to the right and one is from the middle of the parking lot with a zoom to the right.

The barn series would be a lot of fun to do!! I sense a cross country trip coming on........

I like old buildings in general, churches and other public buildings that have fallen are an interesting glimpse into our past. Too bad, many have been torn down.

Now that looks like FUN!!!!!

The dunes are about 4 hours from my front door at the border of Arizona, California, and Mexico. I go anywhere from 6 to 10 times per year. It is a great time.

Here is another from Massachusetts. I will post them as I get them I suppose.

This is a cranberry bog in my hometown.

We're actually very lucky here in Canada (at least in our part of the country). There are quite a few of the old barns/houses around. We've even gone so far as to visit some of the old houses to take a look inside. Once we did this and the owner saw us, drove over from the "new" house to see what we were up to, and as soon as we told him we were just taking pictures, he was OK with us walking around the old house inside. :)
