Do they take the same pictures both nights? Is there something/someone who is available for pics on formal night that isnt there on semiformal night? Trying to decide if we need to get DS dressed up both nights for pics.
If DH & I have Palos on Sun night to get the formal pic done would we need to dressup DS or is same pic available on Thurs night?
Guess if we want pic w/captain and all of us we would need to dress him up on Sun night.
So maybe try for Palos Thurs night and let DS get room service - he's not a lobster eater anyways

They pretty much have the same photo opportunities on both nights. The difference may be that Mickey and Minnie will both pose with you on one night but they're in seperate photo opportunities on the other night. But Mickey will wear his tux and tails and Minnie will wear her sequined ball gown on both nights. And they'll have the same backdrops set up on both nights.

Can we have separate pics taken of me with DH? And then a pic of the 3 of us? (incl DS) Will they just take a pic of the kids too?

Don't worry! They will take lots of different combinations of pics....by the end of the cruise you will be pictured to death.....not to mention all the money you will be spending in Shutters!:earseek:

They will take whatever photos that you ask. I thought it was a lot easier to take the photos on the Formal night (Sunday). By Thursday, we were not putting out the same energy to get ready by 5:30 and the picture opportunities are only for the hour before each dinner seating. After 5:30, I tried to take my DD to the formal backdrop for her 18 month pictures, but all the photographers were in the dinning rooms taking photos. Check out the backdrops before you commit to a line. Also, they will have them on both the 3rd and 4th decks.

Great tips on the multi deck, multi backdrops. Thanks! Those tidbits are going into my notebook so I don't forget them!:p

When we cruised in January, Mickey and Minnie were in front of the beautiful backdrops ONLY on the formal night. We were quite disappointed because we were in one line (for the ship-like backdrop) for over 40 mins and couldn't make it to the one with Mick & Min. We got a pic of us and Mickey on Semi-formal night but it was in front of the piano, no backdrop like we had wanted.

Maybe it's different on each cruise, but just make sure you have plenty of time if you want a certain picture.
