I suppose it can. He's getting the Rebellion logo from Star Wars but the tops of it that are supposed to be points will be mickey ears instead. It's a disney pin that I found. So, at least it's disney in some way.

And I doubt VERY seriously I can keep up a TR and a Pre-TR, even though I probably won't have too many readers either way. I don't have anything for September planned yet, so I'll probably wait until closer to start it.

January 26th, Saturday. Day 2. Part 2

After getting Fastpasses for Everest, we had a few hours to kill, so we headed back around. We stopped at Tusker House to take a break, and who comes out? Our favorite performers!!! Yay!

They are so talented!! Really entertaining to watch, check them out if you can. Be warned though, you'll have that song stuck in your head all day. "Follow the leada leada leada, follow the leada."

After watching them, Darren's uncle Mike called. They had arrived early that morning and they were ready to meet up with us. They were at the entrance of Animal Kingdom, so we told them to meet us at the Tree of Life.

We decided to ride It's Tough to be a Bug since we were right there. That was fun as usual, but when we came out, it was POURING rain. So we all suited up in our ponchos again and headed towards Dinoland. Darren's uncle wanted to ride Dinosaur, so we said we'd ride again with them.

On the way into Dinoland, we got some McDonald's fries to snack on until lunch.
We rode Dinosaur with about a ten minute wait. Again, a good ride. Again, I ducked. LOL.

After Dinosaur, guess what time had come?? Yes, ladies and gentlemen....Expedition Everest...We had a date with the Yeti.

So did I ride???

You bet I did!!! I couldn't let y'all down, right?? Now, that's not saying I wasn't nervous as HECK, but I sucked it up and we got in line. Of course we had to wait a few minutes, enough time for me to spot all of the exits and think of making a break for it.
But I stayed in line. Despite what my brain was telling me.

We give the girl our Fastpasses, and she rudely ushered us to rear of the dock...Darren commented that she could have been a little nicer. I didn't say anything, because something wasn't right...We were in the very LAST two seats of this thing. Now, I'm not dumb...I know the last car of a roller coaster is WAY more intense than the middle or front.
So, the train pulls up...My heart's about to jump out of my throat, but I get in. (I'm getting all worked up just writing about it, having to relive it again lol)

So we take off....Not too bad, kinda fun even. Up the lift hill, the height didn't bother me like I thought it would. I even spotted Epcot and Hollywood Studios in the distance, which was pretty cool.

But then...THENNNNNNN it starts to get crazy. I was literally sucked against the seat and I had to remind myself that I wasn't on Rock'n'Roller Coaster cuz it sure did feel like it. I can hear Darren's dad behind us, saying things that aren't DIS appropriate and I was honestly on the verge of saying a few things myself! It seriously felt FAST...I don't know how fast it goes exactly, but it really whips you around in the last seats.

And when we got to the part where you go backwards, WHOA. I wasn't ready for that. Some people say it feels like you go upside down, and it kind of does. I had my eyes closed, so it really felt like it to me! HAHA.

The drop was scary, I lost my stomach and probably a few bones on that one.

We stop at the station and I'm just thanking God that it's over. Darren had ridden it before, in the very front of the train...He said it was alot faster this time, in the back. I just cut him a look and said, "Ya think?"

Anyway, here's my proof that I rode. Of course we bought this picture.

I think our faces say it all!! I had to take some victory shots (not THOSE kind of shots, although I probably could have used that, too!)

So there you have it folks...I conquered Everest...You didn't think I would do it, I didn't think I would do it...But I did it...and I survived. Imagine that.

So glad you rode Everest! The first time DD rode we were in the back and it definately feesl faster there. Would you ride it again?

That stinks that it started raining again but it looks like it didn't last too long.

I hate my face in that picture, but I seriously coulnd't help it!! Darren made his face on purpose, because he's been on it before...Usually on Dinosaur and Splash Mountain and stuff, I'll look stupid for the camera, but it came naturally for me this time!
