Pictures, Dasani, and...More pictures!! *Complete!*

I know, we've never made ADR's..I don't know what I'll want to eat on exact days at exact times LOL It's hard to choose.

I hate my face in that picture, but I seriously coulnd't help it!! Darren made his face on purpose, because he's been on it before...Usually on Dinosaur and Splash Mountain and stuff, I'll look stupid for the camera, but it came naturally for me this time! :rotfl:
Will I ride again? Only time will tell lol.

lol yeah it is hard to decide but you'll be glad you did. Trust me, last year in september there were almost no table service resturants taking walk in's. I know LTT was amongst those resturants not taking walk in's.

lol those faces are the best ones though, when they're not posed. I have a picture of Chris making a face like that on Splash Mountain. It's so funny :rotfl: Chris to this day still won't ride Splash Mountain. He tried last year but got off at the last minute. He did ride Space Mountain though.....good thing there wasn't a camera on it :rotfl:

Great update! I wimped out on Everest last time we were there so this time I knew I had to ride and I LOVED IT! I don't think I would love the back tho-jeez. But go you!!!!:thumbsup2

Tell me you didn't keep your eyes closed the whole time? Did you see the Yeti?:confused3

You rode Everest! :woohoo:
I, however, am a chicken and sent DD and DH. :rotfl:
DH said as they started going up the hill, he heard this little voice next to him say, "oh crud"... it was hysterical. DD got off the ride and said, "I did it!! And I'm not doing it again!" :lmao:

I did EE for the first time this trip too! I ended up sitting in the same spot your DH is in! That thing pulls and whips around hard back there. :scared1: I totally agree with you.

I'll have to see about ADR's, cuz Darren really wants to try Sci-Fi...So maybe this time!

I know those are the best pics. If he rode Space Mountain, he can ride Splash!! That drop does look intimidating though!
We must be opposite couples, because you and Darren would ride anything, while Chris and I are little chickens (don't tell Chris I said that! :lmao: )

Thanks! Go me :woohoo: haha

Oh yessss, I saw the Yeti. I only closed my eyes during the backwards part and the drop, I saw everything in between...Even up the lift hill, which is what I was initially most concerned about lol.

You rode Everest! :woohoo:

LOL I was saying oh crud myself! And I was saying the same thing as your DD..."I'M NOT riding it again!!!" :rotfl2:

I know!! Scary stuff...Thrilling, but scary! :thumbsup2

Oh Sci-Fi is good. If ya'll go there you MUST get a drink called Marsha's Martian. It is delecious!! It's basically a chocolate shake with alcohol in it. We get one every year. Cheri asked me if they do to go cups on those because she wants to carry it around the park with her :rotfl:

He has done Splash Mountain before. But, he hasn't beel able to get on it since. :confused3 And he hated Space Mountain. There were obscene words coming out of his mouth the whole time while I was enjoying myself and had my arms out of the car the whole time :rotfl: :rotfl:

hehe ;) yeah, it usually works out that way. I'm the one with my friend's husband/boyfriend riding all the thrill rides while Chris and my friend are waiting at the end of the ride for us :rotfl: The only ride I refuse to go on again is Mission Space. **shudders**

CONGRATS!!!!!
I knew you could do it. I love the pic.

How funny! I ADORE Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Railroad, but I REFUSE to get back on Space Mountain - EVER AGAIN!!!! (I don't like the fact that it's DARK - can't tell when to brace myself! :scared1: )

I just got all caught up again and congrats on doing Everest! It was one of my absolute favorite rides this past summer and it DID seem really, really fast from he last car. It was awesome, though, and I'm glad you got to experience it! Would you do it again??

And definitely check out the Sci-Fi Dine In! I've always heard mixed reviews but we finally tried it this past summer and loved it. The food and service were great and the atmosphere was so much fun. Make ADR's, though, because it always seems to be packed.

I'm definitely looking forward to more!

Does Marsha's Martian taste like Kahlua?? If so, I won't be getting it. I HATE Kahlua...I'm more of a fruity drink type of girl LOL.

I usually like rollercoasters once I get on them, it's the anticipation that gets to me. I get too nervous!!

CONGRATS!!!!!

Hahah, thanks!

Yeah well, I wouldn't want to ride Space Mountain with the lights on for sure...It's alot less scary looking in the dark! :rotfl2:

I'm not positive but it probably does. Bummer. Tell Darren to get one so you can at least try it. I can't taste the Kahlua in it. It really just tastes like a milk shake to me. :confused3

LOL he doesn't like Kahlua either! My sister always tells me to taste her Mudslide's, saying you can't taste the Kahlua, but I always can. I prefer my chocolate without alcohol...I'm more of a Margarita-Strawberry Daiquiri-Pucker's type of girl lol

haha, I think the biggest reason my DH didn't like Space Mountain is becaue of the darkness too. People keep trying to get him to ride RnR and I always say "now, if he doesn't like space mountain, what makes you think he's gonna like RnR??"

well poo on both of you then!!

is darren a fruity drink type of girl too :rotfl: (sorry, had to!)

Either way, Sci-Fi is fun and the atmosphere is worth the ADR. It's definately worth a try at least once.

No, this will be our first time! We didn't book preferred :sad2: I hope we're not too far from the bus stop!

Just a word of advice...check the map and make sure you get the building you want! The resort is so big there are like 5 bus stops and an internal shuttle too! We wanted a building across the bridge from the main building and ended up with the furthest one! It was a hassle and a looooong walk. This resort is not like the others and it is like 3 times the size! Just FYI.

Yes, Darren is a fruity drink type of girl :lmao: But don't tell him I said that! I don't blame him for not liking beer, yuck!

I was going to post an update, but it's about to rain here, and I just KNOW as soon as I get it all typed up, the power will go out. :sad2:

Sorry y'all!! I just couldn't bring myself to type it again if I lost it, so I'm going to have to wait. I'm sure you understand!

i don't blame you one bit. That's happened to me quite a few times. It's frustrating. Will look forward to the update next time :thumbsup2

Fellow Louisiana girl coming out of lurkdom to tell you that I am enjoying your tr. It looks like y'all had a great time. ( I live in MS now but will always be a LA girl at heart) I love all of the pictures. Thanks for sharing.
We will also be in WDW Sept. 6-14 staying at POP. Are your inlaws still planning to go with you? I know what you mean about taking a trip for yourselves. We always vacation with my parents and my dsis and her dh, which is great, but it's also nice to have alone trips also.
Hope the weathers not too bad tonight.
