OK, this one is a little different. My DW and I stayed at the Carribean Beach on our anniversary. the second day, we wandered around the resort and took in the sights. I saw this "stuff" floating in one of the lakes and thought it looked interesting. It's not really pretty or heart-warming, but it IS kinda interesting.

It kinda looks like hair.

looks like the barber shop floor after rapunzel went to chop off her hair! :lmao:

Looks like Chewbacca got shaved to me!!!

THe more pictures I see of this parade, it makes me really wish they hadn't gotten rid of it. We never got to see it and I think my kids would have enjoyed this much more than the Block Party Bash. I love all the different cars and how they match the characters!

Here's mine for today--sorry it's a little blurry.

Wow! It's even more blurry than I thought. Does anyone know what I can do to sharpen it up? What kind of program should I be using?

:confused3 I know this has been asked 100 times, but I am trying desperately to post a picture. I'd love to be a part of this thread now that I have a digital camera. I've tried several things and nothing seems to work. Anybody mind helping a technically challenged person? Thanks in advanced for any advice. :confused3

you need to go to a photo hosting website and upload your pics there. i use photobucket. it's free! just go to photobucket.com and create an account. then start uploading whatever pictures you want to post. once your picture is uploaded, they will give you either 3 or 4 codes underneath it. the one you need for posting pics here is the bottom one. it starts with [IMG

hope that helps!

I use Picasa2 for effects on my pics . . . I know there are other, better programs out there, but Picasa works for me and allows you to sharpen, saturate, warmify your pics, as well as make them black & white, etc. It's nothing too fancy, but it's free! :)

Now...OT a little...how do you do the links like you did to the individual pics?

Evad did a nice job of explaining it on page 153, so rather than me trying to explain and screwing it up for you, you can take a look at his intructions. :thumbsup2

What you need to do is

1. Open the link of the post # that you want to comment on in a new tab (post # link is located in the top right hand corner of the post): Do this by right clicking on the number

2. In the original tab click the post reply button to open the "reply to thread" page (where you type your reply):

3. Type in the comment:

4. Go to the other tab where the picture that you want to comment is located, and right click anywhere on the image and select "Copy Image Location" with a left click:

5. Go back to the original tab where your "reply to thread" dialogue box is located and highlight only the text of your comment that you want turned into a link:

6. Click the "insert link" button at the top of the "reply to thread" dialogue box (it is a little picture of the Earth with a paper clip on it) and right click and paste the address of the image there and click OK:

8. Preview post to make sure everything looks and works okay and then post your reply...

Hope this helps
