But WHY is it missing its tower?? I seriously did NOT recognize the building until I read on. Is the tower coming back???

I was told the tower was taken down for maintenance. That was back in March. It's hard to imagine that they would leave it off permanently. City Hall looks a little undressed!

Thanks for the compliment. The Stormtroopers were on top of the entranceway at DHS in the morning when we were going into the park. They were a blast to watch and listen to.

I'm tempted to agree with you, because it generally seems wrong to contradict a photographer as gifted as you are.

But I think you have them reversed. (Beach Club is the "blue" one. Yacht Club has those distinctive red and white striped awnings against the gray siding.)

In any case, that was one sweet photo!

Thanks! I have to admit - I guess you're right! Oops! I just checked on Google Earth, and I took the shot from about 28'22'14.42" N/81"33'29.04" W, where the sidewalk meets the pier, and I guess I was over to the Yacht Club side. I never went inside there so it didn't occur to me that I was at YC already.

So, sorry about incorrecting you when you were right the first time.
