Here is one of Fantasy Land. It was taken at 9:30 am the Monday before Thanksgiving. I meant to take one later that day also to compare but I got busy.:goodvibes

Davey-D-99, nice one of the maps, makes me kind of "home" sick though.

MNWDWMANIAC, nice picture and great vantage point on Main Street!

Groucho, nice Donald merchandise picture. I really like these extreme shallow depth of field shots where the focal plane is very small. (i.e. the focus is on Donald's eye and everything thing that's not in that plane is at least slightly out of focus...)

there they go......up that mountain again. aren't people ever going to learn what happens next? :rotfl:
Haha, good one, thanks for the laugh... :rotfl: I wonder, of the millions who've rode this ride, if anyone was actually fooled. Like they actually thought they were going on a real tea pickin' expedition. Doubt it but you never know...

Thanks Joe. Love the spookie ToT shot as well. :thumbsup2
Joe, I love your ToT pic...the storm clouds really add an ominous feeling to the picture...good job.
Thanks guys!

I wish I could take credit for the idea of this image, but I can't. The inspiration was from this post. I still like their picture better, but I kind of like the way this turned out...

Yes, Mrs Y likes "her" new lens, and so does her husband! It is an incredibly sharp lens and focuses all the way from 1:1 to infinity. I'm most impressed and have to agree with all the user reviews I've read that say something along the lines of, "sharpest lens I own".

I'll post some examples over on the Photography Board shortly.

OK, I have to ask - what lens are you referring to?

Folks, thanks for all the kind comments on my link to the video of the Tam Tams of Congo in yesterdays photo post (the photo itself was of the Africa tip board) WOW it's neat to know that even in such a phot focused thread folks are taking time to read the additional facts I like to throw in! Since the group I talked about most in yesterdays post was the Safari people band with Mor Thiam I'll include a picture of them here today...

At the time of this photo, as some of the folks in Africa have completed thier morning safari (or picked up a fastpass for a later ride) some of the audiance participation that Mor thiam seems to enjoy is beggining to occur. Also you can see three of the Harambe cast members who have joined him for this set, additional details include the basket in front of his xylaphone like instrument that is filled with rattles, shakers and other instuments suited to use for audience participation, in the background you can see the sausage tree, and on the porch of the Mombassa marketplace you can see the wagon they pack thier instruments into when they are not in use.

Joe, with no offense to the person that you got the idea from, as thier shot was lovely also, but I like yours better, a combination of things including the frontier buildings, and the ships rear nameplate being in the shot, the fact that yours shows two sides of the ship at an angle that lets thier details remain clear, and the vibrant colors of yours, make this a view that I just like better.

DD16 on our balcony at the CR. Proof that even teenagers think WDW is cool!

Wow. I really need to start paying more attention to the AK entertainment. Thanks for the info.

VandyFan - You certainly ARE making me want to go to WDW during the holidays! :santa: Lovely pic of the decked out Castle. :thumbsup2

TatenEly - Aaaahh! :cloud9: Your Poly pic really makes me want to be there! :)

Metro West - Love the new Studios sign!

SC Mouse Fan - I love the colors in your Fantasyland pic. :)

Disney8704 - I so remember that Nemo thing! If I'm being honest it actually creeped me out a bit, the awkward way it would just float around and stare at you with those bulging eyes. ;) (And by the looks of the date on your pic, I actually saw that Nemo exactly two days after you took that photo. :) )

princesskelz - I really like the magical tone of your MK entrance pic. :thumbsup2 :wizard:

J.C.&ALI'SMOM - Very nice shot of the Tower of Terror line. :) I love how this particular attraction's line sets the mood for what's coming next.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if that has happened, with the way the Imagineers are so good at theming their rides! That reminds me of once when I was in the Mission Space line and I saw a woman look at that wheel thing and she thought it was the ride! "I'm not riding THAT!" she exclaimed before exiting. :rotfl2:
