I haven't posted in a while. I'm trying to help my mom get our house ready to go on sale this weekend. but here's one of my favorite restaurant:

Dont worry. It freaked me out as well. I was walking past it and then I felt like something was eyeing me So I turned around and there was that Nemo thing right behind me. Not in the same original spot where I had walked passed it. I was thinking woah, a min ago this wasnt here! And then it started moving and I was like wow, OK, it moves! So DH quickly got a picture of it.

Disney8704 - I so remember that Nemo thing! If I'm being honest it actually creeped me out a bit, the awkward way it would just float around and stare at you with those bulging eyes. (And by the looks of the date on your pic, I actually saw that Nemo exactly two days after you took that photo. )

Joe, with no offense to the person that you got the idea from, as thier shot was lovely also, but I like yours better, a combination of things including the frontier buildings, and the ships rear nameplate being in the shot, the fact that yours shows two sides of the ship at an angle that lets thier details remain clear, and the vibrant colors of yours, make this a view that I just like better.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if that has happened, with the way the Imagineers are so good at theming their rides! That reminds me of once when I was in the Mission Space line and I saw a woman look at that wheel thing and she thought it was the ride! "I'm not riding THAT!" she exclaimed before exiting.

Thanks! That particular shot was from the Art of Disney store in Animal Kingdom, but most Art of Disney stores had the same display. (I love taking photos in those stores!)

Disney8704 - I never saw that Nemo figure "out" before. I actually have a photo of it backstage with the side open (I think it was behind the Finding Nemo musical in AK at the time, and there was a decent-sized gap in the fence) and I had no idea where it had been used.

Here's today's shot, from the Epcot F&G fest. If you look closely, you can see that he's taking a drink. (It's more obvious at 100% but that's way too big to post!)

Dont know if you paid any attention to the date on the pic or not - That was taken back in Sept 2003. So it was probably just a 1 time thing like the Dinosaur they had running around AK a few years back. I believe we saw it right in front of the Living Seas. If I remember correctly, Finding Nemo came out in May 2003 for theaters and then the movie came out in November time frame of 2003 for DVD. And we were there in September. So it could have been like a promotional type thing. And then once the new year hit (2004) they probably got rid of it.
