Jud, I watched the video you posted of Boo to You. Nice video. I only saw that parade once but it is the best parade I have seen at disney.

And I kinda hafta assume from what you said, and glad to hear you liked my vid- that you never saw Tapestry of Dreams parade? Cause that was the Illuminations of parades!

Unfortunately no, I never saw Tapestry of Dreams, or Tapestry of Nations for that matter. I have read a lot of good things but sadly the first trip I took my family was after it was cancelled. If you refer to it as the Illuminations of parades then I'll take your word for it that it was awesome.

Unfortunately no, I never saw Tapestry of Dreams, or Tapestry of Nations for that matter. I have read a lot of good things but sadly the first trip I took my family was after it was cancelled. If you refer to it as the Illuminations of parades then I'll take your word for it that it was awesome.

There is a good, well, pretty good vid on the Tube- not sure of the URL, I DL'd and burned it to disc. That was still before the days of digital video...

My feelings on watching this parade- MANY times- lucky me! was that it was the only such thing, or any thing that I saw that would have blown Walt himself away! (I also "walked out" the last performance.)

Unfortunately, the costumes were such that they reportedly caused great strain and stress on their "wearers" or carriers to be more accurate, and it could not be continued. But it was a magnificent thing. I will note though, that like Illuminations, one needed to pay attention and participate in the experience to really get it. In one of the many vids I searched looking for something even close to good, I was often shocked and bemused by all the people trying to ignore it and just get by in the marked off walkways. Kinda like the folks who think that middle section of Illuminations is an intermission or something.
