....yeah, it was a LOTTA snow! We're supposed to get another 3-4 inches tomorrow and 8-10 more on Tueday when we leave for Florida again..... I don't live in N.J. - I live in the North Pole!

The fun side of snow.

We have lived through many big snows too but not in Colorado Springs. Here we get one big blizzard every 5 years or so and it melts in a few days.

We used to have big snows like this in southern Maryland when I was a kid and even back in Gaithersburg, MD in the 1980s - 2016.

Gaithersburg in 1988 in the middle of the county just north of Washington, DC.

And in 2003 it was so high I could sit up on the snow to open our mailbox. Schools were closed for 9 straight days but since I worked in Central Office I had to go in 5 of the days

This is all I have to offer! February, 2021, and what havoc it created! Blackouts across Texas then lack of power for days for some. Allie and her roommate snuggled under blankets in their 45 degree dorm room! Our low temperature was a record breaking 12 degrees and ice covered all the roads for 3 days. Quite an adventure for us!

THIS is what we're used to most winters! Beautiful but I LOVE the colder weather! That's why I enjoy seeing all the snow pictures!
