Woke up this morning to high wind warnings and then saw these dust storm clouds as I drove back from Target. At least these clouds later brought some rain to alleviate our "Red Flag" fire danger warnings.

David said he ran into some high winds in West Texas yesterday too! He saw 18-wheelers braking and next thing he knew he could barely hold on to the steering wheel!

There's a cute little nursery in a small town we pass through when we go to the soccer games. They have the BEST...and largest...chrysanthemums! Two of these filled the back area of our van!

Happy/sad night...DGD FINALLY got her Letterman's Jacket. She earned it last year but DD forgot to order it during the allotted time period! Sad to say goodbye to next years graduating seniors, especially DGD's best friend, as they were honored during halftime of the last home game of the season. Lot of memories to make the rest of the school year!

Last soccer game of the season was a victory and every team member took the field for play time! Nine hour road trip today (a little longer than the 8 hour trip for home games but MUCH better than DH's 18 hour road trip last week!) and a very tired Mimi & Pappy but loving the memories!
