My dentist and her assistant "voted" us "Most Dedicated Grandparents" during my emergency visit today when I told them we'd been "on the road" for 9 hours Monday for DGD's soccer games! 😂

What was the emergency if I can ask?

Another broken tooth :faint: ...happened during the 9 hour "travel day" (that's what I get for eating peanut M&M's )! Time for repairs....again! :rolleyes1 But she's hoping to get the work complete before our Disney trip in June! :goodvibes:tink:

Almost exactly a month ago our temperature dropped to 9 degrees so I was really excited this afternoon to see this peach tree bloom in our back yard :cool1:...

THEN....I turned around and looked in my neighbors back yard! 😳

AND...really excited to see my "backyard bunny" this evening. He visits us around midnight and I hadn't seen him since "the freeze" in February. Was afraid he'd frozen to death but he was proudly sitting by our pool this evening when I took Boo out! 😁:tink:

What a change in one month!

And looking at the weather predictions for YOU :faint: ☃❄⛄ makes those flowers extra beautiful! Our youngest daughter and her husband are leaving this evening for "spring break" in DENVER! 😱 I'm praying they "shift their plans" to more southern Colorado but they have reservations at some castle hotel they've really been looking forward too! Not sure how that's going to work out! :faint: And just noticed they'll be driving through a predicted "severe weather" area in Texas this evening! Gonna be a LONG 24-36 hours for a Mama that tends to worry A LOT when her children are traveling! :rolleyes1 :tink:

Soccer "Senior Night" always brings mixed emotions. Our granddaughter missed that special night last year when Covid "locked us all in our homes". 😢 Still sad about that but got to enjoy my "adopted granddaughters" for their special night this evening. Ironically, the final game of the season was canceled for the Class of 2021 also due to Covid issues in the opponents team but the Coach opted for an inter-squad scrimmage with 2 Dad's doing the referee duties. A REALLY fun night and the "senior photo session" afterwards was the best! Two of my favorite photos from tonight....the "team as one" photo (THAT one was a challenge for this old lady! 😅) and the "leaving the field for the last time" shot. Playoffs in a couple of weeks; will probably be a short run but any extended season is welcomed! ⚽🥅⚽

They'll probably be okay since the 'huge snowmageddon" predicted to hit our area did not start in the night as predicted. We had some rain until 10 AM this morning when the snow actually started. We're supposed to get anywhere from 6 to 20 inches. That's still nowhere near our big snows back in Maryland where 20-30 inches happened almost every year.

:faint: That makes me feel SO much better! Texas drivers don't have snow tires or chains to put on when we visit "snowy states" :D; they do a lot of exploring on roads they don't tell me about until they get back! :rotfl2: They promised they'd "be good" this time! :goodvibes Hopefully this will be your last winter "punch"; noticed this morning my azalea bush is blooming down here! :daisy::flower::tink:

These 2 crack me up...player (DGD's BFF) and former coach. SIL always "coaching"; player ALWAYS argues with him! 😂

Meanwhile...youngest DGD is "having a moment of calm" 😆 before playing in a game with HER DAD AS THE REF! 😉 (had a REALLY fun soccer scrimmage last night!) :goodvibes
