Alumni game was such fun to watch! Miss those soccer days EXCEPT for days like this week when they've had to play in 40 degree temperatures with a cold north wind blowing!

We never dreamed 10 years ago DGD would one day be calling Florida her home! She's back after Christmas break ready to embrace her future!

Annual passes expire mid-January so DD & DGD's headed to my favorite resort tomorrow for one last quick trip!

I absolutely love Facebook memories! This soccer game popped up today; DGD's senior year, January 2020. This certain tournament seemed to ALWAYS be played in rain and/or cold...that year was extremely wet and cold. Girl athletes have just as much fun playing in the mud as the boys do! Coach had to "hose them off" before she allowed them on the bus for the trip home! And they WON too!

Pretty nice compliment from DD tonight. They tried the Cake Bake Shop for lunch today; asked how the cake was. She messaged me back, " Was okay but yours and Granny Dorothy's cakes have spoiled us...we'd rather have them!"
