Looks yummy! How many did DD cook for and serve yesterday?

Only about 16; my sister had the larger bunch...around 30 of us at her house last night. Double dose of turkey, stuffing, all the trimmings AND desserts.

Family members present at my sister's for Thanksgiving last night. I haven't seen my Godson since last Thanksgiving and FINALLY got to give him this quilt I did for him. He played on the Rice baseball team in 2007-2009 and this quilt is made up of all the tee shirts he and his Mom gathered over the years.

We have been having spectacular sunsets lately; not sure why but they've kept my camera busy!

Family members present at my sister's for Thanksgiving last night. I haven't seen my Godson since last Thanksgiving and FINALLY got to give him this quilt I did for him. He played on the Rice baseball team in 2007-2009 and this quilt is made up of all the tee shirts he and his Mom gathered over the years.

Kudos! What a beautiful gift Karolyn! I have been saving DS's shirts for the same reason but haven't even begun to work on one!

Kudos! What a beautiful gift Karolyn! I have been saving DS's shirts for the same reason but haven't even begun to work on one!

The hardest part is getting started! It's taken me 4-5 years to make that first cut on the shirt and start putting the quilt together. I also finally completed his high school quilt too...and since it's been so long was able to include his wedding photo AND the birth of both daughters. One of the "advantages" of being so far behind...
