picture frame for my brother--sort of as a memory

Im not exactly looking for a scrapbook page, but figured this may be the best place to look..If this needs to be somewhere else, im sorry!!

I am thinking about making a bigger sized frame, holding 5 pictures for my brothers 20 birthday present...We had befriended a 16 year old girl while on our cruise and she just died about a week and a half ago. I have four or five really nice pictures of the two of them and im trying to think of a nice way to display them all on a frame.....(im thinking a 12x16 type size)..
I dont want to just have blank paper behidn the pictures..
The only idea i have is she was friends with the band Maroon 5 and "her" song was "she will be loved"---I was going to take the lyrics to that song and put them behind the pictures...but other than that, i have no clue..
any ideas?

Ok, I am not trying to be rude but I have to ask! Why are you wanting to give your 20 year old brother pictures of someone who has died for his B-day? I always thought birthdays were to celebrate the birth and life of the Birthday boy/girl.

That being said, I really think you should put together a photo album ( maybe use cruise/ beach layouts ). This way he can enjoy it when he is thinking about her and then put it away. But if you have your heart set on framing these moments look into doing a shadow box! Here is a link for you to maybe get some ideas!

Because my brother and Alyssa got very close and it is something that he would never do for himself...Also, he would throw a photo album under the bed where as he puts frames right up..
I guess it sounds weird, but he would love it

You could try looking at some of the scrapbook pages at -Lifetimemoments.com, twopeasinabucket.com, luv2scrapbook.com or scrapbook.com. Check out their galleries, there are a lot of layouts that could give you ideas for layering different papers under the photos, and using different embellishments too. You might get some inspiration to get you going.
