I have a friend who is a "little person"....and one Halloween he was Grumpy to his wife dressing up as Snow White (she's full size).....and his response when a few people said he shouldn't do it that people would make fun of him.....was "What...do they think I don't KNOW that I'm short?"
I would imagine that he worked through all the problems as a young person and as an adult has chosen to accept who he is....and embrace it. And why not.....it's not something you or I could do and "fit in" so well, so that (among many other things I'm sure) makes him special and unique and able to do something we can't.
These are all soooo good - can't wait to see more! I'll have to go look through ours and see if I can find any to share... I love the proposal one - how awesome is that?!?!!?
I need to go through my pictures and scan a couple to post. When we went on our Disneymoon in 2001 I posed for a picture with Donald and he walked away with me. When DH told him I was taken Donald nodded yes and pointed to himself and walked away with me again. Too funny. I'm hoping for some great and funny shots when we're there on our upcoming trip...we're leaving Monday morning!
There is a great one of Captain Hook vamping with my Mom sitting on a bench, and Chip and Dale kissing my grandma, both from the International Gateway in Epcot...they must get bored there. I'll have to get them on the computer and figure out the whole hosting thing to contribute...
I've seen this guy with Snow White everytime we've been to EPCOT recently. He's an awesome escort for the characters. He acts like a carnival barker. Just a great CM, he loves his job. We caught him with Snow White and all 7 Dwarves one time, and he was in his element.
This is not my child (I don't have any - much to the chagrin of my parents), but since you can't recognize the child, I don't think it should be bad to post.
The back story is that this was another case of the child not turning around for the picture, so Rafiki (being Rafiki) got down and picked up the child. But instead of turning the child around, he... umm showed the child's better side - as you can see from this picture (I only took the beginning action). Everyone was laughing so hard. Even the child was giggling - and finally turned around for the picture.
