I was wondering if the Picnic CS is still available. I've not seen it listed & don't know if I have overlooked it.

The pre-ordered picnic with chicken has been discontinued. You can grab and go sandwiches, desserts and chips from Beastly Bazaar.

I was really looking forward to the picnic. That was the one meal thing that my DIL wanted to do.

So is the entire thing dicontinued or just the chicken? We preferred the sandwiches over the chicken.

i emailed disney a couple of weeks ago about this, heres thier reply
'Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World Resort. We are continuing Picnic in the Park. Turn your meal at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park into an adventure with Picnic in the Park! Guests are able to purchase assorted sandwiches, snacks, desserts and beverages packaged in a reusable bag to take with them to one of many picnic spots throughout the Park. Plates and utensils are provided so that our Guests have everything they need for their picnic. To purchase your picnic, stop by the Beastly Bazaar store in Discovery Island. We hope this information will be of help to you. We look forward to your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort and hope that your time with us is magical'.

You can purchase the sandwiches as shown above. You cannot order them ahead of time and pick them up later. Also, no hot/cold sides like those that were offered with the pre-ordered picnic. Snacks like chips are available with the grab and go. I do not know if chips are included for a DDP credit.

yes, its a shame the ham and chicken tier is gone. We plan to try the grab and go option in May, so i'll let you know what its like, and post an up-to-date menu with pictures

Sounds good to me. My DH really liked this dining option. We hadn't tried the chicken, but liked the sandwiches.
