Pickle part III

Are they used as every day currency? I do know that they were made eons ago, along with 50 cent pieces, but wasn't sure if they are used now. So a clerk won't look at me like I have two heads? :p

Well, I can't guarantee a clerk would not look at you as if you had two heads ;) ... but you can use the dollar coin. :)

LOL!

Thanks for the giggles guys!

Tracy, My Mom couldn't wear the bifocal contacts either. She does the distance in one eye and reading in another and that works for her. Took a while to get used to, but she is fine now.

Good luck!

TGIF, Pickles!!!

As for the dollar coins - be sure to tell the clerk because they often do not notice and will think it is something else. have a bunch we enver spend..might be worth sumpin one of them thar days.:thumbsup2

Had something else to say, but it is gone with the wind....oh, well...

OH!!! I still have some Canadian money which I keep forgetting to put it in the mail. One of these days you'll have a little surprise, but whatever ya do, don't hold yer breath!

Looks like surgery will be mid October - nurse to call this week with exact date. :hippie:

Did you see the specialist?

Did you see the specialist?

No - decided not to after all. I asked more specific questions and finally got some good answers - now I understand better...the % is, of course, a range...my actual chances of anything being found are small, so will go with my Dr with whom I am very comfortable.

Things did not go well or smoothly when trying to set up the app't with the specialist...it was weird..and the financial office never returned my calls after 2 messages - whereas my local hospital called me right back and was so kind and helpful - same with everyone I've now been dealing with at my regular Dr's office. They've gone out of their way to help find info. It's been going so well, that I felt it was showing me the way to go.:thumbsup2

It sounds to me like you did the right thing...and it sounds like you have an AWESOME doctor.

I agree completely! Communication is so important at times like this!

Good luck with the surgery, Christine!

How many days now, Tracy???

Hapy Hump Day, Pickles!!!

I'm glad you are comfortable with the decision you made concerning your surgery, Christine. It will all be over before you know it! :) Kat, I sure could use your lottery bonus right now! :lmao:

Heather, I have 7 days left until we leave, God willing.

I've been out running roads. I am about to jump on a raft and set myself afloat out to sea. I am SO stressed. I have doctor's appointments, contact lenses fittings, bills to pay, a hair appointment (my hair is four shades right now) a huge pile of laundry to do, banking, car dealership appointments, (Don't get me started on that crap. Heads are gonna roll.) and a bunch of other stuff that my brain just won't remember. Sometime in the next day or two, I have to drive a 6 hour round trip to take my step daughter back to the ferry to go home. I pulled out the suitcases. I have no desire to pack at.all. A vacation should not be so darn stressful. I'd like to have some energy left to enjoy my vacation, yanno?

Calgon! Where are you?!?!?!?!

Uhhh, howdy. :teeth:

Been kinda busy. :p Yeah, I even screwed up my ticker. We are leaving Wednesday. What's one more day with all the crap I have to do. Suitcases still in hallway with Bounce sheets in them. Sigh.

Wed is 3 days!! Today is Sunday....so Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday...1 2 3....you're ticker is perfect!!! :woohoo:

I have every confidence that you'll be ready. :thumbsup2 :goodvibes
