Pickle part II

'Tis a good Disney Day!!!!! Tracy & Christine are going to Disney world!!!

As you know, Tracy and I have our air (both on the less than stellar USAIRWAYS, but good thoughts, please ) and we are holding a tentative Resort, but unfortunately, my pocketbook needs a value since we are both staying FIVE NIGHTS!!!! Well, Tracy will be there 6,but does not arrive until after midnight and will stay in the cheapest room she can find, then the next day we will meet at "our" Resort and check-in together.

I have no brain this morning though...late yesterday afternoon was sipping on a coke, which I NEVER do..had a wonderful chat with Trac, then chatting with Janet until 1:30 a.m.....did not fall asleep until FIVE a.m....

I know we all know this...but our pickles are just about the best and nicest folks I have ever met. Without a doubt, Tracy and I will have the best time!!! Just like Janet &I (and Janet & Heather and as will Janet & Kathy...is there is theme here??) It is as though we've known one another forever.

We do still have a resort pickle, only b/c I do need to stay value (but hey, it's in WDW ) and right now only AS are available - will only do POP for a value. We are holding CBR, but no preferred available, no FQ available, no water view at POR and since Trac was just at CSR she would like to try someplace different...that's fine with me too.

We are doing CS, but I did make one ADR for the Plaza on our first day in the MK - will also make one for the last day so we have flexibility with that one. Waiting to hear if Tracy has a TS she would like to book...so maybe we will have 2 TS's. SOOOO relaxing!!!!!

Christine, I am so happy for you! And Tracy too. I knew you too had been talking about trying, but I did not realize until I talked to Tracy last night that you had worked it out. Keep trying on POFQ...it could become available...you never know. You don't want to be at CSR with the Pop Warner people there anyway.

Excited?!?! Who, me? Nah...no biggie. Just a trip to Disney in 5 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At this time next week, we'll be on our second full day at Disney and dining at LeCellier!

Okay, I may have skimmed a bit. But I've been busy packing for my trip. I know that they were talking about it...but I wasn't sure that it was actually fact.

So glad that you and Janet had a great visit together. I can't wait to meet her in a couple of weeks.

My Mark is working and I'm trying to get the energy to clean the house while watching football and cleaning up after the dog who is sick. She has yucky poops, threw up and has an ear infection. I swear this dog gets an ear infection every time before we go on vacation...it's like she knows we are deserting her for 12 days.

Morning, Pickles!!!!

Janet and I had fun last night. We went to the Disney store (as if any of you were suprised by that!!!) and then walked around for a bit and had dinner at Friday's. We got to talking and talking and talking, and got shooed out and over into the bar....at which point my Mommy, I mean Martina called me to find out what time I was coming home! We had fun, just chatting away....like we have known each other for years. Oh, we bonded by trying on some T-shirts too! We had someone in Friday's take our picture, I'm sure Janet will come post it later.

Heather - I had an awesome time too! And I did feel like we had known each other a long time .... Disney shopping, gabbing away, dinner, drinks, great company, just a perfect time I have a tendancy to talk too much, I hope Martina was okay when you got home, cause I felt a little bad keeping you out.

BTW, I found the pin this AM, like I knew I would. (My little fault pickles is that I am disorganized). Well, I GUESS we need to get together again soon so I can give it to you Here is the pic that a very nice lady at the bar took of us. Heather ~ you look great in this pic! Okay, pickles, did you notice the LIME GREEN shirt I was wearing for the occasion???? I picked it out especially for my meet with Heather

Yes, my poor puppy. I always worry when we leave her. She still misses my dad...I can tell. And although Andy will take care of her...it's just not the same. He doesn't play with her or pet her the way she likes. He did promise me he would let her sleep with him. She's almost 12 and I worry if she can handle the separation.

I can't believe only four more days of work and then I go on Friday to get my brows done, my nails and my pedicure and then finish up any last minute packing and then Andy is driving me to Mark's work to pick him up and then drive us to the airport for our 7:20 p.m. flight (okay, and let me tell you right here and now...I HATE FLYING...and ESPECIALLY at night; but it was the only way to get our free airline tickets).

GREAT Pic of Janet and Heather -- love it. How cool is it that because Tracy had a "pickle" we have lots of pickles meeting each other, talking on the phone, etc.?

Um... let me just say would you rather go through that and fly ALONE like I am about to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And at NIGHT!!! Some poor stranger is going to have me grab onto their leg if we hit any kind of turbulence. And I mean ANY!!

Mark travels to Vegas twice a year for business. I used to go with him but I just can't handle 8 days in Vegas. Mark always says well fly out with me and then come home. NO!!!! What part of "I don't fly by myself" do you not understand?

But with all you've overcome Tracy, I believe that you will be fine! And there will be NO TURBULENCE for your flight.

I love how all of us Pickles are at least meeting some of the other Pickles. What fun this is! We are definitely going to have to work on an all girl trip next year at some point.

I am so happy for you and Christine. I have tears in running down my cheeks--I'm so thrilled.

Kathy ~ I will definitely need a girls trip next year. I know I will be going thru a lot of emotions in the fall, so a trip would be wonderful to plan.

Great idea! I should get my nails/pedicure done! Just not sure when I can fit it in. Sam's 6th grade class is having their car wash fundraiser Sat morning (which I'm helping out at and taking pics for the memory book). and I leave at 5pm on the train out of philly.

Hey you too - I hate flying also, but I PREFER to fly at night (don't want to see anything outside the windows. Trac ~ bring a CD player to distract you and/or a DVD player to watch some Disney movies. I also get some pills from my doctor to help me settle my nerves. Kathy ~ you'll have Mark to cuddle up too

Wow, you guys have been busy beavers! I am so busy throughout the week that I haven't logged on in forever.
Glad to see that lots of people are meeting and going to the House of Mouse.

I am flying to Orlando October 23 and I am trying to decide where to have dinner that night. I am going to teach, so it is not an "official" visit, but will be fun anyway

I am going to try to get some pictures of my classroom posted for you guys.
I may not get on much, but I think of you and keep you all in my prayers.

You've been missed, Kelly! We understand how busy you must be. Absolutely LOVE your classroom - I know how much work it took to get it all ready, cut out all the Ears, decorate the door etc. Miss it so much, well, not the work. lol I changed it each season as I'm sure you do as well (with a yearly theme).

Kelly ~ the pics look GREAT!! I know that it takes a lot of time and effort to make your room look so welcoming/fun for the kids. The kids must LOVE this theme. We missed you here, but log on when you can ~ you know the crazy pickles will always be here!!
