Picking up package tickets early????

Hi Guys,

We have a package booked for the 26th oct -11th nov this year staying onsite with free dining and park tickets etc. My parents are coming to join us but can only get the hotel they want for the 4th nov-11th nov. this package includes the 14 day uk park tickets. They would stay offsite for the first week but wanted to still do disney with us whilst we were there.

Last time we went to disney the cms would tell you you couldn't pick up your tickets part of the package early, but when at disney you could get them up to three days early at guest relations. Is this still the case? Could my parents get their tickets early so they could join us in the parks earlier, or would this not be possible, as the cm on the uk booking site said you can't pick up tickets early at all.

If my parents can't get them early I think they will have to change all their plans as there is no point having a 14 day ticket and only being able to use 7 days of it.

Hopefully some of you knowledgable people out there will have been able to do this .

look at your booking summary, you'll see that your tickets are not valid before your check in.

you used to be able to pick up tickets early, but Disney seems to crack down on this.
you might be lucky with the odd CM bending the rules, but don't base your plans on this.

I tried to do this 10 years ago and despite being told on the phone I could, neither guest service nor the hotel front desk could release tickets early. They ended up giving me six park hoppers to cover us for the three days, but I wouldn't expect them to be so accommodating all the time

They tighten up on this and it now clearly states when booking that your tickets are not valid until check in at your resort.

I think you need to make other plans.

You definitely can not pick up early anymore,
We wanted to do this is may! And since all the tickets became date dependent and on magic bands etc they have cracked right down on it.
Its now valid from your resort stay only.
