Picking Soarin' or Test Track for FP+

We will be arriving after 1:00 to Epcot on a Sunday in February. Trying to get an idea in my head for ADRs and approximate FP times. We would like to do both Soarin' and Test Track that day, but obviously I can't get both with FP. Which one do you all think would be better to standby? I don't mind a 30-40ish minute wait. I'm thinking FP Test Track and do Soarin Standby?

Test Track has a single rider line, which is quicker than the regular stand-by line...I would FP Soarin and do the single rider for Test Track.

I would love to do this but I probably should have added that it will be DH and our 2 kids (DD5, DS3) so I'm thinking single rider is out! Thanks though!

If you're by yourself I would FP+ Soarin and single rider TT. If you're with a group, I'd do it the other way around. TT line gets pretty long. And if it rains/storms, the ride will close. When it reopens, the standby line gets incredibly long.

Of course, sometimes you can get on Soarin' quickly. If the CMs need a group of 1 or 2 to fill a row, they'll call out for it and you can jump the line if you're alone or with one person.

Based on what I saw SB times as this past week I'd FP+ TT and stand-by Soarin. In worst case scenario you and your dh could split into 2 parties of 2 for Soarin. They were looking for a few people to fill spots the both times we rode it.

We just got back and the lines for soarin where very manageable and the extra theater sure helps on the wait time. The test track Fp seem to be gone by mid day so i would deferentially Fp test track as you can wait about 30 minutes for Soarin.

With the ages of your younglings.............FP Test track. The 3rd theater at Soar'in has really helped with wait times...........in the end those kids can't do single ride...........to little IMHO.

I would get a FP for Test Track and plan Soarin for later in the day. Wait times for Soarin have been low in the evening. Right now at 12:55pm, 30 minutes. TT is 50 minutes.

I agree with most posters. FP Test Track and stand by for Soarin. The added capacity with a 3rd theater was really needed.

Plus, if you single ride TT, you don't get to design your own car. It's not a big deal, but it's fun to do.

After reading this thread I switched from Soarin FP+ to TT FP+. Thank you.

Just wondering is pic is taken during Soarin' ride like TT? It's just 2 of us and if there's no pic taken during the ride, I don't mind splitting up if we can ride Soarin' faster.

For sure I know there's picture taken during TT ride so I wouldn't want to do single rider or get splitted up.

We will have two mornings at EP and want to do 3 tier one rides (FEA,Sorin, TT). What should be our strategy? I was thinking one day to rope drop soarin and then FP TT and FEA. We will have 6 Adults, 7 kids between 7yo and 14yo and then an infant. Yup...14 of us.

There is not a picture taken during Soarin' so no worries about that! Definitely agree that with the 3rd theater, wait times for Soarin are way down.
