Picking a hotel is stressing me out!

We have a dates narrowed down finally - March 20-25. We are doing 2 Disney days, and 2 'hanging out in LA/Malibu/Hollywood' days. I don't want to spend more than $100-$150/night. I don't want to pay parking. I want something clean and nice.....my travel mates want the same but 'don't really care' - but they will once we are there if they hate it.

Help!!! I am tempted to name my own price @ priceline for 3.5 stars and be done with it.

Go with HoJo Anaheim! You can't go wrong with this one!

If you go with Priceline you are likely to get a hotel with parking charges of up to $14 per night. Something to think about when placing a bid.

There's also the Candy Cane Inn which I really like. It should be within your price range (although i didn't look at your dates to see for sure), it has a free breakfast, free parking AND a free shuttle. Plus it's within walking distance so you can easily walk if you don't want to take the shuttle. Imo, it's the nicest looking hotel along harbor and looks cute with the flowers, trees, pavers, fountain, etc. The only complaint I've heard is that some people think the standard rooms are a little small. I've never had a problem with the size of the rooms but wanted to mention it.

Like PP said, on priceline you will likely get a 3.5 star hotel with a big parking fee but it's still cheaper than some places since you can often get the room for around $50.

Try not to stress out! You'll get it figured out and it will be fine and you'll have a great time at DLR! :goodvibes

okay...this might not be in your price range 100% but I swear I could have read somewhere that the Disney Properties are buy 3 nights get 2 free...so maybe it will equal out to what you want to pay! Maybe?!?!

Stop stressing - book the Hojos - you will be super happy there!

If you book on Priceline your per night rate including the added parking fee will still be less than a local hotel on Harbor. Bid on a 3 1/2 star property - you will probably receive the Red Lion, Hyatt, Crowne Plaza, Marriott or Hilton. AND you will probably receive the per night rate of about 50.00 plus fees total about 65.00. Add in parking and you have a great deal.. We do this EVERY time we stay overnight and it is lots as we are AP holders...

Well, I decided the free breakfast, free parking, free shuttle, and the great reviews were pointing me to Candy Cane Inn. I GOT A ROOM! $89/night and my mom & sister & DD are thrilled! Now to plan the fun stuff!

There you go.No more stress, relax and enjoy. :thumbsup2

We are doing CCI this comeing July:cool1:. I did the same thing, stress stress stress:scared1: before I decided on CCI.Then on our WDW end of the trip I did the same thing over the resort there:scared1:It never ends:rotfl2:

You made in great choice with CCI! We stayed there in 2007. Service was good and they have the free shuttle bus that runs from their property to the bus loading area outside Disneyland. The bus runs every 30 minutes and is pretty dead on time. Yes - you can walk from CCI to DL (5 - 10 minutes) but if you time it right when you leave, it's nice to get on board and sit down for a little bit (and yes, it is quicker to walk back at night).

Does anyone have photos of the CCI? Although I have seen great reviews I am a bit cautious of web sites that don't offer a lot of pictures and say they offer. "video cassette recorders" in their premium rooms. I've been burned too many times from hotels that only show select views and not a lot of pictures. I would really like this hotel to work out as an option for my family so any pictures would be so appreciated. Thanks so much in advance! :)
