I could be a ton more helpful If I knew who was in your party and their ages. If you are adventerous eaters or not or on the DDP or not? Also which Day are you looking for the TS exactly? what park will you be in? Are you willing to Travel a bit for the meal? Like go to the resorts from the parks or do you want to eat where you are?

Another Character meal could be Liberty Tree Tavern

I hear O'Hana is great (POLYNESIAN)

and Whispering Canyon is super fun and interactive

Also Coral reef is both grown up AND fun (the fish tank is beautiful AND entertaining)

If the grown ups are willing to suffer some humiliation 50's prime time Cafe can be a blast!

Have fun!

Our family of 5 is me, DH, DD 13, DS 9, & DD 7. We are up for just aboout anything and are probably looking for a close by option on one of our "rest days".

I love Whispering Canyon Cafe, and it would be a lot of fun for your kids. I love it and I'm an adult! :rotfl:

I also suggest 1900 park fair.. but it might be closed (I'm not really up on the closing schedule... sorry :-/)

Do a Char. Dinner somewhere, kids love it and it's not the worst way to spend a night at Disney.

my vote would be for whispering canyon. it's amazing. i've been there twice for dinner. both times it was me and my roommates (5 other 20 year old girls) and we all got the skillet meal. now for being an athletic girl who watches what she eats all the time, i had the server refill my skillet 2 times after it was brought out. the food is so amazing and the atmosphere is something else. i love how it's just a loud, fun place where kids get to ride stick ponies and sing-don't forget to ask for ketchup :rotfl:

I also vote for Ohana or Whispering Canyon -

OR Boma - my favorite buffet!!!!

Spoodles?

Isn't Beaches and Cream close by such that you could walk?

The "kitchen sink" dessert seems like a nice fun family event unto itself and you'll have all day to stroll the boardwalk or laze around to recover! The look in your kids eyes would have to be priceless when they see this thing come to the table (I've never been there). Kind of like "oh my Mom's gonna let us eat that, YESSS!"   (you have 3 kids, right!)
