Unfortunately, I get to work this Saturday! Ugh. It's my nephew's 3rd birthday too so hopefully I will get to see him. My brother isn't sure if he wants to take him to the boardwalk or the Crayola factory in PA. I'm hoping the boardwalk because it's not too far from my house and I'll be able to see them.

I'm not sure what I'm doing for mother's day. We're either having people over at my mom's or going to my SIL's mother's house. I wish my family would figure out the plans already!

Today is payday and I got a nice surprise in my check. We get paid our commission quarterly and I got about $100 more than I was expecting. That's going into the Disney fund!

And one of my clients just came back to thank me for helping them with their trip and gave me a $20 because he wanted to treat me to lunch! My day is off to an awesome start!

How fun!! Ooh, the Crayola Factory. I bet that would be fun!! I wasn't a big crayon girl myself, colored pencils were the best. I hope you get to see your nephew!!

Happy Saturday!! I don't think I am doing too much today, we are going to watch some shows we Tivo'd a while ago because I am anal about having enough Tivo space . Then hopefully the pool will be warm enough to swim. Right now we are trying to decide if we can go to MGM/Hollywood Studios for DFiance's birthday in 2 weeks. We'd only stay a day- and actually go up and back in a day (wedding fund money!) but we aren't sure if he can get off work. Cross your fingers girls!!

Of course I did! And they looked very good. They announced Jesse McCartney as another opening act and I'm super excited about that. I love his songs, they're so catchy!

I love that kid, he's a little character.

I'm supposed to be going out to a place called the Dublin House later on tonight. It's DBf's friend's birthday so he told him we'd meet up for a drink or two. I hope I'm still awake by that point.

DFiance used to like going out to meet up with friends around 8 or 9 and then stay like ALL night at some resturant and half way through I'd be like "I have to go to bed!!" and then pass out on the table. Now, we've stopped doing that unless I get to take a nap before we go out. I'm NOT a night person.

I used to be a night person when I worked at the restaurant but that was because my day didn't start til 11 sometimes noon. But now, I've gotten used to my 9-6 schedule and going to bed at a decent time. I told him we could stay for a couple drinks but not all night.

Yeah, once you get used to a normal person schedule it's so hard to stay awake.

I used to be a bartender with my friend at a little crappy pub on campus during college and we'd stay up all night (there's nothing else to do at UF/Gainesville, ). Now, that I teach, sleeping is a top priority! Those kids, whew!

I love that movie!!!!!!!!!! So good. The car chase scene is FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Steve McQueen is so hot too....

Yesterday, Jackson and I went in the pool. I got sunburned. For some reason I never think I will get sunburned and I always do. . Today I am spending the day with my mom. We are going to this new cupcake and cookie tea shop, taking grandma out to lunch and off to see the new Star Trek movie. I hope everyone has a great day!!

Hey ladies!! I hope you have a great day!

I am just teaching today and then going home and relaxing!! I have a big week coming up. This is the last week for students at school and the 5th graders are "graduating" so we are throwing a big "graduation" complete with a party for parents and other family. I teach 3rd grade but we all have to help with the planning/decorating, etc and we have to be present.

My aunt and uncle are coming into town this weekend to spend time with my parents so I guess that's where DFiance and I will be too. But hey, my uncle can BBQ like there's no tomorrow, so that's a major plus!!

Hope we can all chat later! I miss our Unicorn chats!

My weekend was pretty good. I worked Saturday but got to see my nephew later on during the day. It was his 3rd birthday. And on Sunday, my family went to my mom's. It was nice to see everyone. How bout you?

I had a good weekend. Dh and I helped the fire department with the MDA Fill the Boot Drive. It was hot and almost everyone got a sunburn, but we had lots of fun and raised lots of money.

How was Star Trek?? I think Joe and I are going to see it tomorrow. We went to see Earth last night. It was so good!! I felt so bad for the polar bears though.

It was surprisingly good!! I mean, the fact that Captain Kirk was hot certainly helped. I'm not a trekkie at all but didn't mind this movie. I think it's worth seeing!

We saw Wolverine last night. It was ehh.. It was good but not something I'd pay to see again, or maybe even watch. I loved how the diamond girl was really shiny!!

Today, I have to go to a banquet for the teachers in my county. We are going to this fancy smancy place so that'll be good! I love getting dressed up. I'm such a girl. . Then I'll probably come home and get to bed!

I don't know about where you girls live, but it is getting HOT down south in Florida! Whew. And I love it. The only thing.. my car's steering wheel feels like it's on fire.
