Pi Beta Alpha -- Hand over the purple and no one will get hurt.

Slow. I'm soo ready to go home. How's your day going?
Ugh, don't you just hate it when you are like "okay I'm ready! Why can't I leave?!".. I hope you are done with work soon!

My day was nice. Nothing too exciting. I have to volunteer tonight at school which I'm kinda not looking forward to but I am making homemade spaghetti sauce for dinner and pasta (which is like my favorite meal ever..) so that's something to be excited about! :woohoo::rotfl:Hey- it's the little things in life, right? :thumbsup2 Also, I am doing a little online shopping (Vera Bradley is having a sale) and trying to work on wedding stuff (update coming soon!)

Just half an hour till I can go home. I have no idea what we're doing for dinner. We need to go grocery shopping soooo bad! Maybe I can talk dh in to taking me out to dinner.;)

Rora - That lady sounds nuts! That's the kind of things they do in spin class. Does she teach that too?? She probably would have screamed at me cause I would've collapsed. :rotfl:

Mmm! Sounds like a plan. I'm a fan of dining out! If you wind up going, let us know where you feasted! :lmao:

She probably does teach spin class. :rotfl: I'm like the worst spinner in the world. It just kills my legs so I take a break whenever they don't look. :rolleyes1

I just kept telling myself "Nothing is worse than bootcamp!".. I don't think I could ever be in the army/navy/etc. Bootcamp would probably kill me--or maybe the drill sergent would :thumbsup2.

So, my endocrinologist appointment... I was waiting to post until I had today's numbers in hand.

It's not looking good. :sad1:

We don't have conclusive proof yet, more testing will have to be done, but from some of the numbers that we have already, the likelihood of needing some other type of treatment is fairly high right now. My morning cortisol numbers are coming in much higher than they would like to see. I'm waiting on one more set of results that will be back in about a week. The test I'm waiting for is one that shows how much of the hormone that tells my adrenal glands to make cortisol is being produced by the pituitary. I'm anxious to see that number because it's very important.

I get my next MRI done on May 11th. That will provide clues as to whether or not another pituitary surgery might or might not be successful in the event it's needed.

So, onward we go. There's got to be a lesson in this somewhere. I don't know what it is yet, but we'll figure it out.

:grouphug: Honu, I'm sorry to hear that it's not looking as good as you'd hoped. I hope that you receive better news with your next set of results. Try to keep your chin up.

Spin class instructors are CRAZY! I would never survive bootcamp. I don't know how people do it!

Thanks!

Thanks! I will. Things could turn around and I'll keep hoping for that. It's a tough disease to deal with. At least we have options, which makes me hopeful. :thumbsup2

Spin instructors are crazy! I think you have to be to do it. I want to go to bootcamp class when I'm healthy again. I think I'd enjoy it.

Thanks!

Hi Jenny! :wave2:

We're getting closer to Harry Potter!!!!! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Good. Looking forward to the weekend. No big plans really, going to probably see Wolverine, but it's always nice when I don't have to work a Saturday. Any plans for this weekend?

Not really. My dh is trying to get Kenny Chesney tickets for Saturday night from a guy he works with. Not sure if he's going to be able to get them or not.

I hope so too! We went to his concert last year and it was great. I heard this one is even better!
