The Lunar New Celebration is in front of the Small World Entrance.
About once an hour they have a short dance that starts in the walkway and continues up the stairs.
Mulan and Mushu move to the meet & greet area, and the Dancers pose and show how to use streamers.
It runs from 10:00am to 5:00pm.

Thanks for the pics! Too bad it doesn't look at as festive as the 3 kings day celebration...were there any specialty foods or anything? More arts & crafts?

Meet & Greet.

Mulan is always very nice, Mushu jokes around. Chip and Dale were great, they are great fun, and pretended to play flutes with the music and dance.
Look at the right edge of the first photos, they are dancing along.

Special Foods
They are listed but I did not see them in the area.
Probably at the cart closer to Small world.

Crafts.
The only crafts were the Art Lessions.

Crowds moderate compared to Three Kings.

thanx so much for the post. i can't wait to be there on Sunday.

Great photos! Thanks so much for sharing!
I can't wait to check it out when we're there next week!

If there's anyone else that goes and can report back about any special foods they have, I'd love to know before we go :)

Thanks for sharing these pictures! Is this going to be the whole week? I was planning on dropping by the parks next week anyway and I would love to be able to check this event out!

Very cool. I just spent a partial day at Hong Kong Disneyland and they were all decked out for Lunar New Year. They have a short parade with a dragon chasing a ball of some kind (Sorry, my knowledge of this is pretty limited), but it was very neat. Cool to see that they did something at DL.

They were selling egg rolls with a fortune cookie from a cart in the area. Also they were selling soybeans and I think the name was edamame. Sorry, I did not catch the prices.

There were 3 "special" foods available in that area over the weekend:
strawberry churro = $3.75 (at the churro cart)
cup of edamame = $3.25 (pretzel cart)
fortune cookie + egg roll = $4 (pretzel cart)

The signs said that tax was extra, but it seemed to be included.
