Photos of Guest Decorated Windows

I love your Halloween window!! I wish everyone would decorate their windows!

I will be down for the princess half. I can't wait to decorate my window. Now to just settle on one idea.

So this is still allowed? We are going next year for daughters birthday. I totally want to decorate now..How do you make window clings? Am I reading that you can buy colored window cling sheets? If so where would I find these? We will be staying at POR.

We will be at Pop 11/11 thru 11/18. We would love to decorate our window! At that time of year, should we do Fall or Christmas?:goodvibes

For me personally, I would do Thanksgiving, the forgotten holiday. I get rather annoyed about all the Christmas decorations up in the stores before Halloween.

We will be at POR the week of Thanksgiving and I can't decide either. I'm leaning towards Christmas just because the parks and resorts will be decorated for Christmas.

Thats actually a great idea! I could do like a cutout tree, then put fall colored mickey's all over it instead of leaves! :) Thanks for the tip!!! :) So I read that no tape is allowed... what do people use instead?

Suction cups and fishing line. I am going to be attaching my mickey heads to fishing line then tie it to a suction cup. If you have room in your luggage or driving or if you are shipping a box down you could put a cornucopia to place on the window ledge. Maybe a string of clear lights too. don't forget a small extension cord and power strip if you do lights.

Where does everyone get the paper Mickey heads from? Do you cut them yourselves? I am going for netlights with Command hooks but, not sure what else to do. A trip to Party City may b in order. ;-)

A friend who has a cricut machine and the mickey and friends cartridge. ;)

Cheater!!! ;-) My friend wants to cut them by hand. I handed over scissors, coloured paper and a smile. LOL!!!

I love your decorations!
We will stay at Pop next October, we are flying from Spain so it's going to be difficult to create a perfectly decorated window like the ones on this thread, not a lot of space to carry stuff... but I will try! I'm thinking about buying cardstock and make some cute bats, ghosts and mickey pumpkins. Since I'm planning to buy a lot of halloween merchandise at the parks I'm sure that a lot of stuff will join the composition :lmao:

We decorated our window at Pop last year and I am trying to come up with a theme for us for this year at CBR. I don't really care if anyone sees it but us, but it is fun when someone sees it and comments! :) Last year I took one of my DD's old locker dry-erase boards that has a magnet on it and put it on our door. We would come back with little messages or something people drew on it. Everyone was nice, I was worried that someone would spoil the magic and write something rude, but they never did. Here is my daughter and our window last year...

and the door (I didn't do a lot with the door besides the wipe board)

I love the Alice in Wonderland theme! Well done!

Thank you so much! I love looking at all the pictures of everyone's window decor so definitely wanted to share ours. I loved our Alice and the Unbirthday theme, my favorite part was probably the flamingo lights, though. lol I loved seeing them all lit up when we came back to the room at night. So cheery! Even our Mousekeeper said she liked them! :)

I am having such a hard time thinking up a new one. Since we will be at CBR I am thinking Princesses in Paradise princess::beach:princess: but haven't fully committed on that yet. My 18 yr old DD is actually going this trip (it is usually just DD13 and I), so I am trying to stick with an all girls theme.

BTW...I'm OTP, too. Hi from Marietta! :)

We're in Woodstock and it's always me an my girls too (ages 10 and 12). I'm working on our December window already! :lmao: Hobby Lobby had all their scrapbooking paper 50% last week. I'm going to stick with my mickey heads hanging on fish line design (there are pics of my windows in some previous posts). I will probably do lights as well; like you I love the look of it at night! I wish more people would decorate their windows, it's so much fun!:goodvibes
