Photos: Dueling Dragons queue

I took a lot of photos from my recent vacation. Here are shots of most of the Dueling Dragons queue.

The entrance

"You have bad breath! You must die!"

Wow! That sure is close.

Some signage as you move along the garden path.

Here is the castle entrance.

These stained-glass windows show a pretty neat video on how the dragons took over the castle. Most people just walk by it, but it's worth to stop and watch it.

This is a neat book to stop and read.

This is the fire dragon's room.

Then onto ice dragon's room.

The long hallway to the dragons.

Bones line the walls.

At this point, the hallway is pretty dark. I did not notice the spiderweb until the photo was developed!

This is the loading area where you load onto...

...Fire...

...or Ice.

The Universal Express entrance bypasses most of the queue.

Is there a chicken exit? I don't do roller coasters and DH can't but we would love to see the castle with the kids.

You can exit through Baby Swap or cross over to the exit when everyone is loading.

Believe it or not, when we were there the first week of December 12-7-00, there were virtually NO lines so we zoomed right through all of the queue. I don't even remember seeing it. Maybe because my 13 year old daughter was pratically running to get to the ride. It looks so cool. Can't wait to see it again. Although I hope that it isn't because I'm waiting in a long line, but because I stopped to look.

Your photos reminded me of my dd and myself trying to find our way through the queue without our glasses on and noone to follow because the park was empty. We did find our way eventually and tried both, one right after another. 2 great rides.

By far the best theming and queue for any ride in any theme park. Great pictures!! I'd do a video, but it'll be jammed packed when I'm there next (July). A nice mpg would be cool though. The castle is practically an attraction all by itself.

I can see myself running through the queue with a video camera. It's too much like Blair Witch though.
