PhotoPass

I can't complain about how I made out, because I paid less than that for the initial package AND the pre-purchase, because of a cast member discount...so if they're going to pay me the value of the initial PhotoPass, that's fine, I'll apply it toward the MM...my only issue is that I have to shell out another $70 now to get it--but the PhotoPass didn't include attraction photos before, either...but let me know how you make out, because I considered calling to tell them that I wanted the MM paid, since I didn't expect to have to pay anything for that, having pre-purchased the other thing...

Spoke with Disney Photo pass today. I know our situations are not identical, but are similar. I purchased the photo pass archive disc for $119.00(in 2013). I told them I had purchased this product because I was not interested in the ride photo's or character meal photo's. The CM needed to speak with her supervisor. Once she was back, she told me that she had put the photo CD in my cart that could be redeemed once I am back from my Christmas visit. She said if I had any problems just to call and all the notes would be in my file. Now all I can do is hope for the best. Good luck in getting your situation resolved.

Yes download only.

For an additional charge you can purchase a CD copy of your photos and/or buy gallery photos and other products but the MM price is download only. Once you download you can copy and duplicate as you wish as long as its for personal usage not selling the photos.

I didnt see the option to add a CD on the info page. Just something about Gallery photos... Is that something we will see AFTER our trip? i would rather pay the additional moneys for them to send me a CD than downloading all those photos to my PC, and then Burn them all onto a a DVD, and then delete them all from my PC... a lot of extra work
We had close to 1k pictures from our last 2 week trip, and after edits and such we had over 1500.. lol

The WDW Photopass system doesn't sell the Photo CD as a product anymore. The gallery products are really just stock photos that they have taken of the parks. The Photopass CMs can do things on your account that you cannot do. For instance, last trip when my account kept crashing, only allowing me to do single edits at a time before having to log out (they confirmed this on their end, no idea the root cause) they were able to give me a 3 + month extension, instead of the 15 you were limited to at the time. So the CMs may be able to add the product on the backend (since they still offer it for DLR) but only in special circumstances. I too am dreading the download process, I normally average 4-5k pictures per trip. Gonna take a while I think.

So I've heard you can buy the CD after your stay for $30--is that the part you're getting for free? I received my gift card in like 2 days--it was crazy fast! So I will apply that to my reservation and then purchase the MM, I guess...I got an awesome deal the first time around, so I can't complain that I still have to pay $70 for the remainder of the MM...

I was able to keep the original photopass archive cd package. I did not have to pay anything additional. It does not include the ride and dining photos. Have a great trip!!!
