Disney PhotoPass Share


We now have enough members to split this PhotoPass Share into 2 groups.
The first group will be May 12 -31
The May group currently has 9 *confirmed* members. The price of the Photopass with be $15.00

The second group will be June 1 -15
The June group currently has 9 *confirmed* members. The price of the Photopass will be $15.00​

If paying through paypal the cost will be $15.76 to cover the paypal fees. Payment requests were sent out via Paypal this afternoon (3/30/08). If you are not paying via paypal please contact me directly for my mailing address to mail a money order. All payment will be due no later than April 13th.

If your payment is not received by April 13th your name will be dropped from the group and we will attempt to find a replacement.

(this includes shipping, the actual CD and the jewell case)​

DETAILS:
Here is how our photopass share works:

Everyone will pay their portion when we close the group to new members. The final amount is still to be determined as of 3/24/2008. Payment can be made with money orders sent to Msslaydbug or she can accept paypal with a fee.
(I only have a business account. As an example if our final cost of the CD's are $18.50 to pay me via Paypal you would need to send $19.36 to cover the fees. The price will all be determined at a later date though. We hope to keep this as organized and simple as possible.)

Msslaydbug will prepurchase the PhotoPass directly from Disney. I will create an account for our group.

There is NO limit to the amount of pictures you can take ! ​

1. When you start your trip you will get a photopass card from any photopass photographer in the major theme parks. Your photographer will then scan your card. Take as many pictures as you want !! Stop every photopass photographer you see. They are great opportunities to get the entire family in those pictures ! You can use multiple cards but it is easiest for you to try and use the same card as much as possible.

2. When you return home DO NOT create your own photopass account to view your photos if you create your own account with your pictures you will no longer be eligible for this Photopass share. You will need email me your photopass information and I will then enter it into our group account. ( If you do enter your information into another account there will be no way for us to change this and you will then need to order your own photo cd).

For the May Photopass group all photopass information will need to be emailed to me no later than June 2nd
(the sooner after you get back from vacation the better)
For the June Photopass group all photopass information will need to be emailed to me no later than June 17th
(again, the sooner after you get back from avacation the better)​

*You have 30 days to claim your photos from the date the first picture was taken so it will be important to get your cards entered soon after you return from vacation. *

3. Once your information has been received and photos entered you will be able to begin editing your photos on the account.

4. For the May Photopass group the photos will need to be edited by June 6th. The CD will be ordered the weekend of the 7th
For the June Photopass group the photos will need to be edited by June 20th. The CD will be ordered the weekend of the 21st.
It will not matter how many photos we have Disney will send us as many CD's as we need.

COST:
So far if all of these people follow through with the plan/ confirm their participation/pay their portion it looks like the cost will be close to $18
(this includes the CD's, jewell case and shipping).

Photopass Updates as of April 26, 2007 for the May group​

*I have emailed back and forth with a couple of previous photopass share leaders to make this as easy as possible for all of us. This is how it will work. *​

I will be creating the photopass account on May 10th and prepurchasing the CD at that time.​

When you return home please email me your photopass card Id's. Put in the subject line "PhotoPass Numbers" along with your DIS User ID

Please understand the system for uploading and editing is *very* slow and once we hit 300+ pictures it takes F-O-R-E-V-E-R ! Please be aware of this on your editing day and be respectful of others and do not log in on their editing day. From what I understand please expect at least 4 hours to edit your photos - possibly more depending on the amount of photos you took.

The night before your editing day I will email you the user name and password

We are going to Disneyland May 31-June 4th. Would those dates still work? They don't have as many photopass opportunities there as they do in WDW so I would likely not have many pics on our card and would probably only be interested if costs worked out to $25 or so.

You had replied on 3/15 to another thread saying that you might be interest in joining a photpass share (with Trina7020). Presuming that since you started this thread prior to responding to that thread that you aren't participating or are you doing both? Just confused.

We had been looking for other people to join that photopass share.
