Photopass Share - Late May/Early June *updated for June members pg1*

Yep -
if you look at this thread I posted it the end of Feb and no one replied until the middle of March so I did see if there were any others accepting people into their shares but never did get an official answer. If this one is able to get enough people than we will go forward with this one. Thanks for your concern though.
Tomorrow I will get the list together and start getting official YES's from everyone so we can get this moving. There is still room for people to join this one if they want.

You had replied on 3/15 to another thread saying that you might be interest in joining a photpass share (with Trina7020). Presuming that since you started this thread prior to responding to that thread that you aren't participating or are you doing both? Just confused.

We had been looking for other people to join that photopass share.

Who is going to be making the individuals CD's? Is the mailing cost going to be included in the price split?

I will be making the copies of the CD and mailing them out - yes the price is included for the mailing and thecost of the actual CD.

If we end up getting enough people we could just spit this group into two actual groups. Maybe those of us who are towards the start of May and then those who are more towards and into June. Depends on how many people decide to join.

That sounds like an equitable plan. If you can can absorb Trina (from the other thread) and I included in this thread, that gives you nine people. That should be plenty for a group and a half....possibly more if you get another few responses. Would that work?

Yep that would work. I think if we had enough people splitting it up into two groups works well and still keeps the price low. We could possibly take a few more poeple toward the beginning of June as well. Just have them post here with their dates.

i believe you are given time to add borders to it, once she has your info then you will get the password to the account to edit your pics.. right?

Correct everyone will be able to do all of their editing. Cropping/editing of pictures, ect

How would the 2 groups work? Would someone else have to be in charge of collecting money/ sending the CDs to this group? Would the costs still be the same for each group?

If we had enough people we could split the groups into two andkeep the prices about the same *but* we would need more people to join. We would also need someone who would volunteer to lead the second group.

All that is a big *if* . So far it is looking like this might just be one group. I know it is a holiday weekend but there are some people I still have not gotten an official "yes" from via PM.

Our trip is for June 8-15--so I obviously can't make the deadline dates. Perhaps one will open up that will work for our dates.

I am curious though about a couple of things:

1. When you copy the cd for each participant, will the cd contain all the pictures of everyone in the group or will it just contain the participant's pictures?

2. I'm assuming that you'll be copying the "copyright release" for each participant also--is that correct?

Sign me up please! We have done PhotoPass shares before from DIS boards and love them! We never would buy the CDs or pictures otherwise.

We will be travelling May 24-30.
