Is there a Photopass FAQs? I couldn't find one, but will repost this if someone will point me in the right direction. Unitl then, I'll get started here:

I've pre-purchased a Photopass CD, made our photopass photo shoot session appointments (2), have matching clothing and have tried to read everything I could to maximize my options. However, I'm still not clear on a few things:

1. Did I or did I not read that you can only add the "extras" i.e. Tinkerbell, Year of a Million Dreams onto your photos and on your CD from the website? (If you can only add them from the website, then I should wait until I get home. I like this option best, but wanted to make sure.)

2. Also, I am a Disney Visa Card holder and plan to go to the meet and greet in Epcot. If I read correctly I will receive a free 5x7. If I get my free photo will I still be able to put all those photos on my CD when I return home?

3. I received a voucher from WD Travel Company for a free 5x7 Disney photopass photo. It says I can not redeem it on the website. Will I be able to give them my photopass at a photopass center and select a photo I want free, but still have all the photos on the pass to download at home?

I'm sure I'll have more but here's a start.
Thanks for helping me.

Here's some answers.

Most of the "extras" you add at home - the autographs, park logos, etc. But if you mean the Tinkerbell in your hand type special photos, those are done by the PP photographer when taking the photo.

2. Also, I am a Disney Visa Card holder and plan to go to the meet and greet in Epcot. If I read correctly I will receive a free 5x7. If I get my free photo will I still be able to put all those photos on my CD when I return home?
Yes - our free photo from the Visa Meet n Greet was on our Photopass photos when we got home. Just make sure you give the photographer your PP card.

The answer to this should be yes as well - you're just getting a free printed photo while you're at the parks - you can pick it from any of your PP photos.

I'm sure I'll have more but here's a start.

one of the posters on these boards has a GREAT website for photopass information.. the website is stitchkingdom.com. We found his site to be extremely helpful!!!!!!! :thumbsup2

It depends on the extra. There are a few ways that the extras get added. Some of them, like holding Simba, or having Stitch burst out of the ground, have to be added by the Photopass staff.
When they take the pictures, the staff will tag them with subject content. Be it the park, a special event like Princess & Pirate Party, character in picture, etc. Then the online system will read those tags, and display the extras applicable. The online system has limitations in that you can only use one extra per edit, and you can't move it around the picture. Pictures that they edit at the parks can have multiple extras, and the staff can move them around to other sides of the picture. However, the onsite editing is only applicable to pictures purchased and printed on the spot, so your free Visa and Travel Co Pic. They no longer let you do your CD edits on site. Hopefullly this helps.
