Is there a number to call photopass? A friend of mine pre-bought her cd before going. It was cheaper that way. However, she is now home trying to crop and edit her photos. She is not able to get many icons (the 4 parks) and only 2 borders. No character signatures. I remember for myself that I could get the 4 parks, more than 2 borders, and whatever character was in the picture I could get the signature. While at the park a photopass photographer told her that she would get everything on the screen at home that was there. She saw a birthday icon she wanted because it was her son's 5th birthday and can't get it at home. Any suggestions? She's pretty displeased with it all and would like to speak with someone. Any suggestions on a phone number? There's not one listed on the web-site, and she has tried email with no response.

Thanks for all your help!

I have heard others have problems and called a number. But I think they had to search the site to find it.

I will say that when I did my pictures, only certain things were available for each peicture. Not all borders could be used on every picture, etc. But it's been awhilesince I did, it so I don't remember it all anymore.

We bought the photopass CD from our trip this past April. When we got the CD- we noticed that there weren't as many options as there were in the parks. There were like 3 sayings and signatures from Pluto, Chip & Dale, Mickey, Minnie and Goofy. That was it. For Epcot there was a Test Track option, MK there was the castle option, AK had the tree of life option and MGM had the sorcer Mickey hat. Other than those- there were no options. We could crop the pictures but couldn't add the other cool graphics/text to the pictures. This time we go- I'll be buying my CD at the park and editing my pictures before I leave. Unless they changed options since April- when purchasing the CD at the park as opposed to ordering it online- they were giving you 3 free 5x7 pictures of your choice.

how much does photopass cost? How does it work? Should be buy at the park or online? thanks~~~~going for the 1st time in November~~~need all the help we can get before we go.

If I remember correctly- the photopass we purchased in April was $125. It went up in price as August of '06 it cost $99. I'm purchasing in the park this time because they have better options that can be added to the photos. I wasn't at all impressed with the options we got in April. The August '06 photopass had a lot more options but for some reason it was changed. I'm sure it'll be different again for this photopass i'll be buying in August '07.

Click the link in my signature for a PhotoPass primer that will tell you all you need to know about PhotoPass.

They have changed the number and type of graphics and borders available on the PhotoPass system a number of times since inception, and in fact I have heard that they recently discontinued allowing Guests to select borders and graphics at the viewing station in the parks due to long wait times.

Graphic options will be somewhat limited online according to the content of the pic; for example, you can only get a character signature on a pic with that character in it, and you can't put an Animal Kingdom graphic on a pic of Epcot. Things likt eh generic WDW 2007 logo should be available on alkl pics, and holiday-themed graphics will be available for pics taken during the holiday season. Available graphic options are generally limited to 4 choices, although those 4 will differ from pic to pic.

If the choice of graphic enhancements is not enough for you, your best option is to simply get the pics plain and customize them yourself at home, using Photoshop or some other photo editor. The online PhotoPass system has to be limited by its very nature; it simply can't be everything to everybody, so some folks are going to be dissapointed with the choices. But if you look on these pics as an opportunity to practice your own creativity, you can produce better stuff than the PhotoPass system ever could, and it will be unique to you and your trip.

I Purchased This Cd In June Of This Year. If You Purchase The Cd In The Parks Before You Leave You Get 4 Free Photos And Can Not Add Extras. But If You Wait Till Your Home To Order Your Cd You Get All The Graphics But No Free Photos. I Opted For The Graphics And No Freebies. Remember Before You Leave The Park To Make All Your Photo Passes Into One Card. Just Ask A Cm At A Photo Counter To Put All The Photos On One Card. The Free Visa Photos Were Bad! We Didn't Even Want Them But You Can Add Them To Your Photopass.
