Hi all,

I have a question regarding the Disney's Photopass.

I understand how it works in tha parks.

Are there Photopass photographers also on the ship that we can use the same card for?

Mark

From everything I have read or found out - the photographers on the ship are not connected to the Photopass System offered in the parks.

You have the opportunity to purchase photo prints or a CD of all the photos taken on the ship at Shutters.

Hopefully a Veteran Cruiser can supply more information.

I have subscribed to a bunch of threads regarding photos on the ship on the DCL Forum. Unfortunately, Tracey is correct.

You can purchase a CD with all the photographs they take of you, but it is $299 or $399. Something astronomically high. It is my understanding that the CD just contains the photos and a waiver to print, no personalization or special borders like a Photopass CD has.

They sell credit/point packages and each print, depending on its size costs a certain amount of credits.

Here is some info from the Cruise Forum on Picture pricing:

Shutters - Photos packages onboard are now based on "photo credits" for the different size pictures you want to purchase. Photo sizes are 6x8 or 8x10.

10 Photo Credits: $89
20 Photo Credits: $149
30 Photo Credits: $199

(8x10 is 2 credits, and each 6x8 is 1 credit)

You can also purchase photo CD's (priced according to length of cruise)

3, 4 and 5 day cruises the CD is $299
7 day or longer the CD is $399

Any purchaser of a CD can purchase any prints or credit package at 1/2 off the advertised price (both Magic and Wonder). , Shutters Copyright Release Form, Prepurchase Photo Package here, New Photo CD Info & Discussion

Tracey & Todd,

Thank you for the information.

Not what I was hoping for...

That is some very steep pricing.

With all the camera buffs in the group, we should be able to have pictures of just about everything from the cruise.

Perhaps we can get Pete/Corey to dedicate an area of the Photo section to PCC 2.0 pictures.
