Photopass poses - The cheesier the better!

Those ARE great, Disneydaz! Worth waiting all that time for! I especially like the very first Hook picture and the group shot of everyone. And I like how there are different dueling poses with Hook. Of course, I love the double Stitch! I am going to demand those darn PhotoPass people put us in the Soarin' pose, because we would have a blast doing that one and they never had us do it!

See what happens? You don't post photos for a while, then become a photo-posting maniac! I am going through the same thing over in my TR! I am a picture-postin' fool (nothing so far today, though)! We can't be stopped!!:lmao: We are on a roll!

Now, somebody else out there HAS to have more PhotoPass pictures - past or present - to post! How about some with the current holiday decorations/PhotoPass Set-ups at DLR or WDW? I know you all are lurking out there. Come forth...join us!

Thanks, we had a great time (especially me) having them done.:goodvibes

Here's a few more

image1244.jpg

Here's the 1st time we had the ones with Mickey or Minnie seated-this time was by the castle. Fav. Photog again.

And of course I had to get in the act. :goodvibes

image1258.jpg

Really hamming it up!

image1274.jpg

We're hitching on Main St.-photogs idea. :goodvibes (I'm planning on photoshopping out that one person behind us and then it'll look like we had the park to ourselves :cloud9: )

image1436.jpg

Making funny faces (once again, my fav. PP photog. :goodvibes )

image1447.jpg

Kids doing Mickey ears this time.

image1362.jpg

Hanging off a lamp post-different day, same photog.

image1335.jpg

Kids doing Mickey ears this time.

Hey, Disneydaz - this picture of the kids where they are doing the Mickey ears has the Catalina Island/Avalon Casino on the mural in the background. That caught my attention right away, because Avalon/Catalina is my other favorite SoCal spot besides DLR! Where was that taken? I assume it would have to be in DCA, because what is now Ariel's used to be Avalon Cove restaurant, which was based on/themed around Catalina. We spent a lot of time in DCA in October around Ariel's, taking pictures, but I never saw that mural! Do you recall where exactly it is? I want to get a picture of it in two weeks!!

I know exactly where it is and be sure to get some pictures of it, and all the murals there, as it's part of what will be torn down when they change the entrance to DCA.:sad2: The murals are on both sides as you enter DCA, just past the entrance. The one with the Casino in Avalon (Catalina) is on your left. (near Guest Services) There's some great mosiacs inc. San Fran on the right side-I like the one with the otter. So cute. :goodvibes Most people just walk on by them as they rush in. :rotfl2:

The day we went with one of DD's friends family we ran into may fav. PP photog and I volunteered to take some pix of them by the murals. He also took ones of them "surfing" in front of surfer mural-I can post that later (now I'm on downstairs computer and I don't have PP Cds with me).

When are you going in Dec.? Sounds like you're going to be there during our block out days. Too bad as we could have arranged to meet up one day. Our passes are blocked from 12/19 to 1/4. I'm thinking of upgraded to next AP to pick up Sunday 1/4 as well as next Sunday 12/14, so we can see my Nephew, as a Reindeer, a few more times. We are going this Wed. since DD has a min. day and I'm just going to let her skip it. :goodvibes (And maybe we'll go to see the fireworks and snow on 12/12 or 12/18?:confused3 ) We haven't seen the snow yet. :santa:

The last few times we've gone I've made sure to take pix of more of the mosiacs. I just think they are so nice, and soon, they'll be gone. :sad2: And of course I want to do another batch of PP pix. Looks like they are now good for 60 days which works out great as DD is off track all of January and we'll be going a few times (at least) that month. I can get my Dec. and Jan. pix on one PP account (hoping to get 2 of DD's friends families to pitch in this time as well :goodvibes )

Oh, my group is guilty of the same thing - we walked right on by those murals at least twice! I guess I recall seeing them out of my peripheral vision, but didn't turn to really look at them. The Casino would have caught my attention right away! And then another time we went into DCA through the GCH entrance so we didn't see the murals at all! I most definitely WILL take some pictures because, you are right, by the next time I get to DLR (after this December trip), all of that will be gone forever!

I definitely want to see the 'surfing' pictures. It seems like you got quite a few different poses or some of the different effects that the rest of us have been deprived of, sadly!

Yep, if all goes as planned, I will be at DLR on the 19th - 22nd. Initially, the plan was for the 26th - 29th, which I didn't like. I found out I could save money by switching to the week earlier, so I did, and the 19th is the arrival date, though I think we probably won't get there until late afternoon and may not go in the park that day. I mean, I could go in because I have my AP, but I don't want to leave my friend who I rarely see in the hotel while I go cavorting in DLR by myself, so we will probably go in on the 20th, meet up with other friends, and then we will go in on the 21st. I will have the second part of the 21st to myself (evening), and then part of the day on the 22nd to myself, and then my friend is supposed to join me again before we head home. So it sounds like you are definitely blocked out with your AP. It would have been really fun to meet up! I have to start meeting some of the great people on DISboards - soon!!!

I saw the pictures you posted of your nephew as a reindeer! You said you got teary-eyed, right? That was sweet! The 'snow' is funny to the people from states where it snows all the time! But to those of us who don't see snow every day, it is kind of a cool effect to have in DLR! Even though the snow is more like bubbles, really!

Did you happen to see Disney Dreams' thread about the 2.5 Hour trip to Disneyland? Disney Dreams caught some great pictures of the snow falling in front of IASW!!

Disneydaz, oh my gosh!!!! I love your photos, they are all so amazing, I would really love some of those Mickey/Minnie photos, they are all so awesome, you all really do get the cutest shots, I can't wait to see more. My next trip to Disney is not soon enough but I love reading and seeing all your pictures, they are so great and give me some great ideas for when I go. Thank you for sharing.:goodvibes

2 more...

Here's the kids "holding up" the GG bridge

Awesome!!! Would love to see more!!!!:goodvibes

Here ya go!

"Surfing" in front of the surfer.

image1601.jpg

Not cheesy, just cute.

image1618.jpg

I wanted to be Walt but the photog thought it would be funnier if DD was Walt and I was Mickey. Notice she has Walt's finger point just right.

DisneyDayz, as always, I love your photos, the one of you and DD hitching on Main St., priceless, I totally hope to get one of those at some point, I can think of no better place that I would rather be hitching it at!!!!:goodvibes Feel free to share more photos if you want, they are all awesome and they brighten up my day, you all just look like a fun group of Disney lovin people.:goodvibes

LOL I like this one, my DD really gets into these pictures....
Who doesnt love Stitch coming out of the ground?

Nice pix! I've only gotten Stitch in the plaza-didn't know they would do it by the waterfall. Have to ask for this next time. Thanks for sharing. :goodvibes

Here's one of my neighbor's family by the falls.
image1935.jpg

(as you can see "Princess" didn't quite get it! :rotfl2: )

And here's my DD being silly
image1939.jpg

Bumping so that the people with the latest crop of PhotoPass pictures can post easily. Disney Dreams....we are all waiting eagerly!:goodvibes

Everybody's photos are great! It is getting me so excited for our trip in March!
:cool1:
Thanks for sharing!

And let me bump this again - I KNOW there have to be people out there with more PhotoPass pictures who are being shy. A whole bunch of folks just went to DLR around the holidays. Anyone? They don't have to be cheesy, though those are the most fun - just have to be PhotoPass!

Maybe they're still working on them.

Here's another one of mine. I don't think I've posted it before.

image1088.jpg

I'm pointing to DD since it's her birthday (actually 2 days before)

The front of the park is going to look so odd when they get rid of the Golden Gate Bridge. I was iffy about having a fake GGB in DCA to begin with, but now that I am used to seeing it at the entrance, it will be so weird to NOT see it.

Anyway, another cute picture, Disneydaz! You have a whole treasure trove of photos to use just to keep this thread alive (what was it again? Over 2000?)! Anyway, my new PP CD should be arriving in two days, so I can start posting (that is, unless the CD gets delayed in the mail...and you know how that is!).

Can't wait to see them! I'm adding more PP to my new account-I won't be ordering it though until end of January. I'll post some from that one after I receive it. :goodvibes

Okay, here we go! Y'all asked for it; you got it! Well....actually, no one asked for it, but I am giving it to you anyway!: PhotoPass pictures!! I will add some here and then add some others over on my existing Trip Report a little later (there are a lot of them), so everyone come check out the TR (link in signature) when you have time in the next couple of days. There are already lots of pictures in it. So, these PP pictures were taken at DLR this past December, the weekend before Christmas. You will recognize my friend Shawn, who was in the last series of PP pictures from October, and my friend Jackie, who also appeared in a few back in October. I am the one in the Blue Mickey shirt with the giant sunglasses on.

This was the very first PP picture from the trip. You're never too old to visit with Santa (at the GCH). Of course, I had to practically twist my friend's arm to get in the picture, but we will forget about that nasty little scene!;)...

Hanging with the Big Cheese and his goofy friend...

image031.jpg

Acting like a fool by the Main Street Christmas tree...

image041.jpg

image046.jpg

A really cute French PP photographer took this picture. I wanted to ask him if maybe DLP sent him over to DLR, but I didn't.

image067.jpg

Here I am, dueling with Captain Hook...except Hook is missing!!! (SO, by default, since I was the only one in the battle, that means I WON!!!:cool1: (And a totally different French hottie took this picture - where did all the French people come from all of a sudden?)

image078.jpg

image077.jpg

The PP photographer who took this picture was new, and we were her first photos in this location (on Main Street)...

image093.jpg

Gotta do one of these...

image106.jpg

Here we are in DCA...

image129.jpg

Okay, let me just say that the PP photographer who took these next pictures made us laugh so much. He was my favorite. He was so funny. Blond hair and glasses - look for him when you go, everyone. He is great. Just tell him you are willing to do crazy stuff. He had us pretending we were getting run over by a train....which might have made more of an impact in the photo if there weren't people casually walking by in front of the train like they didn't have a care in the world!!: Kinda ruins that 'your life is in danger' feeling!!

image134.jpg

He even caught us in a candid, hysterical moment...

image137.jpg

Again, I am trying to be Miss Method Actress, like, "OH NO! I am really getting trampled by a train! I am going to die!!" Shawn can never fully get into her role, so she almost looks like she is doing a little dance, as if to say, "Hey, everyone, here I am getting run over by this train! Yee haw!":rotfl2:

image141.jpg

Now Jackie has joined us...

image172.jpg

image178.jpg

image213.jpg

It's a bird! It's a plane!

image240.jpg

image242.jpg

Hangin' with Pluto...

image255.jpg

Oh no! Look what I got for Christmas!!

image280.jpg

And here I am, acting silly all my myself in front of IASW Holiday. There were other people waiting for PhotoPass shots too, but we ALL had to wait because someone in the line had a big Mickey balloon that was obstructing the view and nobody wanted the balloon in their picture. So there was a whole group of us waiting a long time for the person with the balloon in the line to move so we could get a clear shot. Never mind the hundreds of people standing in the line who got in the shot...but definitely no balloons allowed!!!
