I ordered the Photopass CD a mousepad and calendar on 2nd October and received an email that they were shipped on 4th October. It is now 26 October and they have not arrived. Should I be worried? Does it normally take this long?

I think it does normally take two to three weeks. I ordered last year, CD, mousepads, mugs and they took just over two weeks to arrive. I've had just the CD before arrive in a few days and I remember being worried about my last order but it did arrive.

Did the order come with tracking? You can usually find that by logging in to your account and checking the order status.

It wouldn't hurt to email them too. If you email to tell them that it hasn't arrived, then as soon as you email them, the parcel will then arrive before they even reply :thumbsup2 That sort of thing always happens :rotfl:

I have just remembered. I once had a photopass order arrive so quickly and the tracking said it had been delivered. I emailed them to say it hadn't arrived and found that the courier had left it and pushed it under my garage door :scared1:

We ordered a Photopass photo book earlier this year and from memory it arrived exactly on 3 weeks.

However; I've ordered a few things from the US over ebay recently and they have taken AGES (like six weeks) to arrive, and they are stamped on the day the auction ended so I know the seller hasn't caused a delay. I also regularly order books off a UK site, and they are taking at least a week longer to arrive than they used to. So I've been wondering if there's some kind of delay or increased security checks with Australia Post now or something??

Hope your CD arrives soon!

I read a newspaper article about a month ago saying that Australia Post was struggling with the massive increase in parcels due to the strong Aussie dollar and prevalence of online shopping. My local Aust Post is contracted out and the chap is notoriously unreliable. When my last parcel went missing (aka - delivered to the wrong house or stolen) I gave up on AP and now am paying extra for FedEx. Comes faster and actually arrives!

given the boom I bet Customs and AQIS are also a bit bogged down.

Just to let you know I did receive the Photopass CD the day after I emailed them ;) Still waiting on the calendar and mouse pad but I'm sure they aren't far away.

Thanks again

:rotfl2: I knew that would happen. As soon as you email about missing things, they arrive. It happens to me all the time :rotfl:

I hope the other things arrive soon. I got two mouse pads and they are great!

Great photos! Glad that they turned up.

Question for all you who have got photopass, did you pre-order a disc before you left ? or just collected the tags they give you when you get your photos taken?

We have always prepurchased, so much cheaper. It was even cheaper last time as we were travelling with friends so at the end of the holiday, I just collected their photopass card numbers and added them to mine so we shared the cost of the disc.

But with the preorder. What you do is, add the prepurchase cd to your shopping cart, before you go and pay for it, it has to be done before you go. There will then be a photopass CD credit added to your account. When you are at WDW, you still need to get the photopass card (or cards) from the photopass person the first time you have a photo taken (although we did get a special photopass card in our welcome pack).

A tip. Always take a photo of the back of your photopass card, so you can see the number. That way, if you lose the card, you still have the number and can enter that into photopass and retrieve your photos when you get home. You can add as many photopass card numbers to your account to be added to your CD.

When you get home, enter the card or cards numbers into photopass online to retrieve your photos. Once finished you order the CD, and the prepurchased CD credit will be applied, removing the value of the CD you have just ordered from your shopping cart.

Does that make sense :rotfl:

For those of you who have added borders and even your own photos how long did you spend approximately doing this?
I am still traveling for a couple of months after my time at disney, so will have to try and get computer time when I can for my photopass pics so just curious how much time I will need to find

Anne you only have 30 days to claim your photos from when they were taken. So if you wait a couple of months and then go to photopass and enter your card number the photos will have gone.
After you have claimed them, they are then are only available to alter for 30 days and then must be added to a CD by then. You can purchase 7 or 15 day extension for your claimed photos if the 30 days isn't long enough.

I almost missed my cut off once :scared1: I had done a photobook and hadn't saved it, then they expired the next day (this was before you could buy an extension).

Yeah I am taking a computer with me, so I will be able to enter the numbers and all that, I am hoping if I manage to spend 2-3 hours on the site I can add what I need borders wise and get it sent home so it will be there when I get home.
I have read it is best to save the photos in different sizes so this will be what I will try and do the most I think, and just play around with the effects a little bit.
