When we ordered our Photopass cd a few years ago, I recall pre-ordering for $99, when the regular price was around $150.

I see that now a photopass cd with all of your pictures is only $59.99. Is that right? Am I not seeing something crucial? That's great if it is true .... does anyone know anything about this?

TIA!:goodvibes

That's the price for the DisneyLAND CD. You must have Disneyland photopass card ID numbers in your account, to be seeing that. It usually defaults to WDW's pricing ($150 unless you've clicked on the special link for $99) if you don't have DLR ID numbers on your account.

Now...if you go to WDW and then to DLR inside of the right timeframe, it will give you the CD of both, for the DLR price.

Hmmmm, interesting. We did go to DL in January and I did buy the photopass for $60ish. But, those photos have since expired and we have no photos in our account anymore.

We are going to WDW next month and if there is a discount for preordering, I would like to do so. I've gone back into our account and still get the $59.99 ... and it does not specify DL or WDW. Wonder what the deal is.

We also have friends going next week with a large crowd and they have never done PP before. I am trying to get her set up to preorder so she can add in cards from multiple people in their group when they get back.

Does anyone know of any valid preorder codes? Thanks!

I always preordered the CD.... except for this last time, it slipped by.

I follow photopass on facebook, and on Valentines day they released codes for "bonus" pictures of characters. I ordered my CD a few days later, expecting to pay full price- and it was only $59!! I communicated with them to make sure that was correct, and it was. I think it must have been their mistake- the only thing I can think is that the "bonus" content was tied to DisneyLAND, and converted my CD from WDW to DL.

We'll be traveling with another couple ... can we share the photopass?

yes you can, just make sure all of the Photopass card numbers go onto the same account. Once in a 2nd account, then you can't do it.

Plus, seems your signature is too big. you might want to resize it.

I've order many CDs in the past and it seems to me that if you haven't ordered before it will come up to the WDW pricing but if you have it will be based on the last card you entered. WDW or DLR. UNTIL you enter another card. So if you went to DLR last and ordered that CD, when you pull up your account to upload your WDW card from a recent visit, until you actually enter that WDW card the CD will still show the DLR price. As soon as you enter the WDW card, the price will change.

How cool was that? I never would have thought it would do that. ;)I wonder if it'll work the same way conversely? There's a Bonus CD content for the Epcot Flower Festival. If you enter DLR PP Cards and then upload the Epcot one would you pay the WDW price? Based on what you found out, I guess you would. Something to keep track of with my next DLR CD order starting uploading on Friday, the 27th. P.S. I got those Valentine ones as well. Pretty cute. :lovestruc

as pyrxtc said you can share the PP as long as everyone enters their numbers into one PP account. There is no limit to how many cards you can have or how many photos. The more photos you get the more CDs they'll send you . You get about 400-450 per CD.

Although the pictures are expired, it keeps the ID numbers forever.

Which brings up an interesting point. If you go to one of the parks and use a PP card that you have already used, and uploaded to an account, the new pictures will appear in that account within hours. (thus starting your 30 day ordering clock)

When shares were allowed on these boards I was in one of the first ones. The next trip, I decided to run my own share. I brought back one of the PP cards I had gotten the year before (from one of the water parks) since it was so cool with it's attached bracelet (before they started using the rubberband ones). Problem was when I got home and entered that number it was already tied to another account. Urgghhh! And it was under the organizers name, not mine. I contacted the organizer, she gave me her password, I contacted PP and asked if they could transfer the card to me (giving them all the detail I could) and they did! ;) However, that was years ago and I'm not sure they would do so again. What with all the PP shares going on.;)
