Antique* - This is on the mantle at my cottage in northwestern, PA. There's a couple of antiques in this picture, but the most prominent is the big black oil lantern gifted to my grandparents in the 1950s by a local farmer whose family had settled in the area during the oil boom of the 1850s. This is supposedly from the late 1880s and was quite common back then.
Bonfire* - This is a bonfire at our cottage. An old coal stove has been relegated to outside use. This is where we do all of our outdoor cooking and campfires.
Cigar Store Indian* - We stopped at a spring to get our wash water supply for the weekend and I noticed this in one of the cottage yards across the street from the spring!
Dog riding in car* (convertible or motorcycle**) - My dog riding in the car on the way to get ice cream!
Row of Flags* - Driving through Franklin, PA on the way home I saw this! I'll be up there in a few weeks and I'll get a better shot then, but until then...
Ice Cream cone - The BEST ice cream (Perry's) in the BEST homemade waffle cones in the world! From The Little Store in East Hickory, PA. If you are ever in the area you MUST stop by and get one.

Lighthouse - The Sherman Memorial Lighthouse in Tionesta, PA. A lighthouse along the Allegheny River. It houses a collection of...lighthouses!
Napping passenger in car - My youngest daughter is always good for a nap in the car.
Obsolete* - Ever since the advent of indoor plumbing and now even those composting toilets, these things have just sort of become obsolete. Good thing some of us hold on to tradition!

Woof (dog barking) - Barking at my husband when he got out of the car.
Yourself* - My family is getting tired of seeing me with my camera!
