Here's one of my favorite through the window shots. It's of a young mourning dove sitting outside our bedroom window.

When I cropped it closer, I noticed our house is reflected in its eye.

This was taken out of a train window as we were leaving Denali National Park.

We're supposed to get some snow later this week -- we haven't had any yet this year -- so I'm hoping to get some more recent pictures through the window as the snow is falling.

I just posted this one along with a few others (late) on the Christmas thread. But it just dawned on me maybe it belonged here! Although I hope to try my hand on a few frosty windows at home still....

I hoped to get some good shots of this earlier in the year when my daughter made her first communion, but I couldn't get the exposure right. Since I've been hanging out here and moving into manual mode, I've improved greatly!! Of course, I had to get really close to avoid the hanging light in front of the window, so I kept wondering how this would look with that Tokina 11-16 I want.....

Taken on a snowy New Year's Eve from the window of our hotel in Boston. I was too lazy to set up the tripod since it was 8:00 p.m. and we just arrived after a long 8 hours in the car, but I still think it came out okay. I really loved the purple light that was shining on the old church from the ice sculpture being displayed across the street.

Yep! The game (and trip) was really fun. Would have been a bit better if the Flyers actually won, but you can't win em all, right?

I am a Hurricanes fan. We cannot win any of them:-( Hope you like our old back-up goalie, coach, and assistant. We miss them.

Great game. Sorry Flyers loss. In Carolina, we like to ruin the Bruins.

I was loading pictures from my daughters camera onto the computer and I found one she took of our first snowfall of the season just before Christmas. She's 6 - I enjoy her view of the world from her height!
