Kleenex can also help diffuse a flash too. You will have to play to find the right thickness that lets enough light through without bouncng it off the animals eyes. The better option is still to try and shoot without a flash. Open every curtain and turn on every light.

Also, this was Spike, my parakeet that passed away last Oct., just two days after me & my boyfriend's four yr. anniversary, at only 3 1/2 yrs. old. I still miss the little guy.

I honestly don't know what happened. That morning he was fine & wanted to be out of his cage, then I went food shopping with my mom, and bought Spike some kale, which he always liked. When I went home, I saw him on the bottom of the cage & I knew something was wrong. I was with him when he went to the Rainbow Bridge.

swtnikki - love your cocketiel! Reminds me of our 3 that we had. We (DH & I) actually had purchased two (brothers from the same clutch) they were lutino. And very talkative! We named them Chip and Dale. Chip lived to the ripe old age of 15 and Dale was about 14 when he passed away. (Similar to what happened with your parakeet). So sorry to hear about Spike.

When my MIL passed away, we inherited her birds - a female cocketiel (greyish) named Chi-Chi and Chi-Chi's "pet" a parakeet named Tweety. Tweety was only about 3 when she passed and Chi-Chi passed away at about the age of 16 or 17.

Man, I'm way behind on this thread! Just skimmed the last few pages, and there are some great photos! Had to respond to a couple that hit close to home though.

Yes, it is a cat stroller. This particular cat HATES the stroller. That's why I took the picture, because it was rare to see her in it (especially on her own).

Our youngest cat, however, LOVES the stroller. She was hesitant at first, but now, she'll come over to us meowing, bring us to her stroller, and hop in. She is so cute!

When we first brought her down the street with it, she would claw the sides and meow, so we stopped that for a while, and just sat outside with her in it. She loves to sit in the stroller next to the bird feeders!

We bought the stroller because our youngest cat (Emma) thinks she is a dog, and is ALWAYS with the dogs. So, when we walked the dogs, she would meow and meow to be out there with them. So we bought the stroller.
