Okay, so we won't be visiting WDW with our DS until late next year, but this is still relevant...how do you get clear pictures of them, especially with a lower quality camera and/or indoors?

I'm taking a picture of my 3-month-old DS each day for the year in order to document his growth. It's a lot of fun, but I don't always have time to grab my dSLR and fiddle with lenses when he's doing something cute. But iphone photos often come out blurry or dim--we don't have a lot of windows in our house and the lighting isn't the best, and he's a bit too young to spend lots of time outside in the middle of July. Any tips or recommendations from the experts? It's particularly hard to get photos of him smiling because he moves his head so quickly. I want to get tons of good photos of him when we do go to WDW, so I'm sure I'll have the same problem; we'll be inside a lot at restaurants/character meals/etc. and he'll be whipping his head around to look at all of the characters!

During my family's first trip to WDW, I shot everything with an iPhone using an app called Camera+. I think it's .99 or maybe $1.99. It has a burst setting so you can take a bunch of quick shots for those perishable moments. There are also different filters and post-production type things, if that's your cup of tea.

After the trip, I put all the photos I liked into iMovie and made a slideshow of our trip that turned out pretty well.

Hope that helps.

Use whatever light there is to your advantage. Turn people so that the light is on their faces indoors and move as close as you can to whatever light source is there. And accept that in some situations you're not going to get the shot with an iPhone unless you have a model with a flash. If you do have a flash on yours look for an app that lets you take control of it's power so you don't end up with the flattened out features a too bright flash can sometimes give.
