Only another 405 days until I can experience these things for myself. I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready.:cheer2:

How awesome! My mom would love something like that. We're on the transtlantic next year and hopefully they'll have something similar.

She's big on going to the buffets to find new foods and I'm lazy and just go to Triton's/Lumiere's.

I love that on the Wonder they're always using that outdoor grill :wizard:

BTW your breakfast plate---- that's exactly the same stuff my DH would get. Donut, fruit and other random pastries. Mine would be all meats

I definitely like tritons too but you are right about finding different offerings at the buffet!

Dsis and I started the afternoon together with attending the next segment about Disney Animation. I really enjoyed listening to these. Quite interesting but sad that they really aren't doing hand animation anymore.

Then we went our separate ways. My afternoon was spent on the verandah

and catching some great photos

Dolphins!

There were lots of sea turtles. I talked with someone who was in a porthole cabin on a low deck and apparently these were really cool to see from their room being so close to them.

Dude, I am totally far from the EAC

and then cue the music dun-dun! dun-dun! dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun, da-na-na

yep what I thought was a dolphin on further inspection of my photo turned out to be a shark. I took it in anticipation of its jump but it never came out of the water so looked closer and it is definitely the shape of a shark not a dolphin!

Dsis can only remember this from her afternoon :rotfl:

And all I remember is her coming out on the balcony and saying "whazzz up!"

Yep that means it was the Tequila and Margarita Tasting!

so here are some photos to help fill in the blanks.

and on top of that she won the door prize of the ultimate margarita

She actually did learn a lot about the different kinds of tequila and had a great time with Ddad - Father-Daughter Tequila tasting :goodvibes

Tonight was the Toy Story musical. It was definitely one if the best shows of the trip. But I liked Twice Charmed musical better. I like it when they continue the story or change the story somehow not just retell the same story. Also the costumes seemed to be really worn. Poor Woody lost one of his buttons while trying to rescue Buzz. Also the Dinosaur's tail was pretty deflated and sad looking.

And now we are eating again ;)

this was one of my favorite menus of the trip.

the specialty non-alcoholic beverage - (very yummy)

Pretzel rolls!

the lobster roll

Mexican beef turnover

Norwegian smoked salmon blini

Japan iceberg salad

Butter Pecan sundae

and if you don't like anything they will bring this for dessert.

sorry forgot these:

we went to a couple things that night which were frankly a bust. The first was Star Gazing. This was very crowded and it was also cloudy so not many stars. It took place at the bow of the ship around the sport deck. I think the lights were dimmed for the event. But it just wasn't great. And once the navigation officer started to say that the sun is the only star in our solar system I was out of there.

so we headed to the Adult exclusive even in the oceaneer club - the Royal Ball. this was not so great the animation cells and flubber events for adults taking over the kids spaces were much better!

We woke up to an eerie sunrise

and then headed to breakfast at beach blanket. which I think is my favorite spot for breakfast.

We dressed specifically in nautical attire for the group photo that morning and were the first in line. We just hung out and read our books and watched as the line grew. I have never gotten in line so early before but we had nothing else to do so why not?

from the balcony above:

while we were doing this our parents went to the chef challenge in Studio Sea. this was a very popular event but parents truly enjoyed it. The top chefs from the ship competed in a top chef like competition. Apparently this was very entertaining.

So three guesses for what we had for lunch :goodvibes

yep still doing our part to eat those chicken fingers!

this time we took it back to the room and ate at the table in our parent's suite.

then we headed to diversions to play apples to apples until the Wii golf challenge started which my dad wanted to play.

There were only a few guys playing and my dad had bad luck since it wasn't until halfway through we all figured out that his control was set to left hand. He reversed his stance and did better. All the players walked away with this cool prize:

Dsis and I headed to the next and last presentation by the Disney Animator. This was about the short Paperman. we got to view the short and then hear all about it. This is the future of hand drawn animation. It is a hybrid of Computer Graphics with hand lining incorporated. she said her hand drawing was all done with a stylist she used directly on the screen - smoothing out the computer graphics. The end result was a very nice combination of the two since the computer graphics don't look very natural.

then for some reason I snapped this photo of the mural on the wall behind the midship elevators and I am posting it here because why not - you all love photos, right?

Rodrigo left a message with Dsis and me making sure we knew that the two of us were also invited along with our parents to the concierge reception. I really appreciated this of Rodrigo that he would treat us as well as our parents since we are a family.

this reception was amazing!!!

I took a lot of photos but hope you enjoy this photo tour...

now in red...

the full table

closeups of the amazing work

my favorite...

non-alcoholic fruit punch

Well your experience at the tequila and margarita tasting has sealed my fate for sure. I will definitely be signing on for that tasting:lmao:

Getting caught up on your last couple of updates. Love all the pics of the trip through the canal and then the ones that you got of the dolphins! I have been on many cruises but only saw dolphins once or twice and even then it was only 1 or 2, soo cool that you saw so many!

That Paperman won the Oscar for best animated short. It was neat that you got to see how they made it.

Definitely tons of dolphins. Although I did talk with people who didn't see any the entire trip. So I definitely had very good luck in spotting them. either that or I spent too much time on my verandah!

I really liked paperman and can see why it won the Oscar.

So that evening we were treated to the Crew Talent show which was really great. Really fun and some very talented crew members! They also included "dancing with the officers" where three guests were paired with three officers to dance. They practiced for several days before the talent show.

The sunset was better than the sunrise this day

The dinner was the Prince and princess menu

Patryk was looking very prince-like this evening

The tutti Fruiti

Mussel Soup - which of course when we ordered we flexed our own mussels and Patryk replied by saying he would get it from the kitchen while pointing in a way that would flex his mussels.

The duck quesadilla

and we all ordered the turkey

This is where we will be in a few days

Love seeing the random characters!

and the cotumes

Someone is goofing around
