We ate there only once for DH's birthday on our first family trip in 1990; did the in-room sitter thing and then walked around and visited places like the old Adventurer's Club. I loved it but fancy meals do not appeal to him at all!We have been lucky enough to eat there a few times from the first year it opened until our 45th anniversary.
In the beginning. they did allow chidren to eat there, and they (ages 9, 11, 16) loved it. It was their first taste of things such as venison and escargots.
The highlight of those visits was when we ate at the Chef's Table.
