Excellent use of fill flash - well done! Wish I could get exposures that look that good using fill - usually I get one of
1) it looks as if hadn't used flash at all
2) the subject looks totally blown out, or
3) I eventually get the flash power right, but the subject looks really grumpy because she's fed up with all the attempts
Thanks, Wen. Absolutely, and it's funny you ask. I had just picked up my D300 that had the 70-200VR attached. I threw on my SB600 with Gary Fong Lightsphere as we were about to head out the door and snapped this one in a rush. I realized soon after that I hadn't adjusted my previous ISO setting of 3200. Once I transferred the rest of my shots to the pc, I was once again pleased with the D300's performance at higher ISO's. If exposed properly, this camera handles noise extremely well at that level.
