I think I'm in love with your Mom's backyard. Those are amazing shots of an amazing backyard.

I spent an hour stalking hummingbirds in my Mom's backyard. I didn't do so good on the exposure, they were only visiting the feeder in the shade. But I like the silhouette shots.

I did catch a few good ones of the birds and butterflies though.

we live in Charleston, SC - I was looking for a good vantage point for the Ravenel Bridge.

Then we drove out to the end of Folly Beach to watch the sun setting over the marsh.

There are really great photos posted here. I really enjoyed looking at them all.

I just upgraded to a DSLR....got a Sony A300 just a few days ago. I'm still experimenting with it, and seeing what I can do with the kit lens. I have a lot of learning to do, but I'm enjoying the process.

I haven't taken it outside yet, so I basically have a gazillion pictures of my cats, lol. DH and DS aren't so cooperative when it comes to having their pics taken.

I took this one earlier today. I liked the light and shadows on this.

I took this one with a Nikon D40, which I considered getting before I decided on the A300. It's hard to get a picture of this cat that shows his beautiful blue eyes. Too bad he had an eye booger, lol.

This one was taken with my previous camera (Canon S2 IS). Not really recent, but I've always liked this pic.
