Main Street USA, 8:50 am.

This is a beautiful shot, bOB! Love the almost muted colors of Main Street that your processing resulted in. Glad to see you got some keepers on your photo trip and very much looking forward to seeing more!

I'm loving this one too! I'm hoping when I get my wide angle shots that you all will walk me through some HDR processing. I'm really loving the effect! December seems a really long time away.... probably because it is....

Code - maybe you posted earlier on this thread but did you get the Sigma Fisheye? Love this shot!

I just rented it for my recent solo trip.. it was a lot of fun! More than I expected. Though I can't justify owning it in the real world - especially at $650 new (couldn't find a used A-mount copy) which would make it my most expensive lens. This is why I rented, but I almost regret not just buying it so I have it for future Disney trips.. fisheye works so well there (and to think how long I resisted the fish ). I'm tempted now to get one of those Vivitar/Samyang/Rokinon/whatever 8mm f/3.5 MF-only fisheyes.

click the pic for flickr!

Awesome use of the fish, Code! Can't wait to see what else is to come. We saw PhilHarMagic for our first time in December and it was great.

I had to crop this one due to the door overhang behind me sneaking into the frame without me realizing it, so some of the fishiness was lost.

Nice! Who did you rent from? The fisheye is a lot of fun. I used mine quite a bit on my short visit last week too. I had used it a little last Nov but it kind of became my go to lens this trip. Being a faster lens helped since I didn't have a tripod along.

Looking forward to seeing some more! :)

just bought me a wide angle (fisheye) as my vday/anniversary present that my wife said I can buy for myself.

these are literally the first shots so nothing compared to you guys but i hope to learn quick.

Had to go to Ft. Lauderdale for work earlier this week. Had a few minutes before the sun was completely set to snap a few pics.

Taken with my Tokina 10-17mm fisheye .

This one looks like the edge of the earth to me:

I wandered up on these lone flowers on the beach. Curious who put them there and why:

This display was HUGE and on the beach. I had to patiently wait forEVER for people to go away from it so I could get a photo sans strangers...

Enjoy your new toy, you're off to a great start! My DH finally broke down and bought me a fisheye for Christmas....took a few rentals for him to realize that I really WOULD use the lens instead of let it collect dust in my bag.

Thanks :goodvibes. I have more photos of it but there are people in front of it. I should post one just to give an idea of scale. A grown man wouldn't even come to the top of the red/orange part. It was GI-NORMOUS!!!
