Photo Sharing: Ultra Wide Angle

I drank the Kool-Aid and just ordered my Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 through Adorama.:thumbsup2 Can't wait to get it and have something to post!

I suspect these are the first of many I' here from our Tennessee vacation last week. (since I'm not into TR's) The 14-24 seemed to live on the camera for most of the trip.

The view from the cabin we rented- mountains look a long ways away at 14mm

I'm jealous of all you who get to go on vacation, and Disney lol. I love the shots you got, beautiful girls.

Click the picture to go to its Flickr page, where there are several other takes of this cherry tree in the comments (not all UWA, though--you've been warned!).

Beautiful Todd :thumbsup2

^I think that's the first UWA shot I've seen of the Carousel/Sword--great work!

Thanks Tom, there is a pesky fence just behind me that I was plastered against. It would have been perfect if I would have climbed over the fence but I did not want to start my day off getting yelled at. :rotfl2:

I was scratching my head for the longest time wondering where that fence is located until I realized you're a Disneyland guy. In that case, I take back my compliment about the shot!

Just kidding--we're heading to DLR for the first time ever this August and we're really excited!

I commented on this shot already on the Disneyland POTD but have to say once again how beautiful this shot is. There is something so sweet and charming about DL and Goofy you master it well. WDWfigment you will have a blast there. I still rate it higher than WDW. I've always said that if Epcot was built in California I would never go back to WDW. We are headed back to WDW after three years of DL. It will be interesting to see it again.

I test drove a Nikon D700 last year and put on the Tokina 11-16 UWA. It does not vignette at 15 or 16mm. This was shot at 16mm.
